It’s really odd how it’s acceptable to ask about other players’ contracts. I would politely decline and suggest other peoples’ business is not mine. Even when being positive like he is, it’s an inappropriate topic and question for a player. More members of the sports media need to be shamed and clowned for their awful professional practices.
