This was one of the games of all time.

  2. I’m trying to stay positive, but the next game against Houston is really important. Three game losing streak, already lots of injuries, tough schedule – feels like we are on our way to a Pelicans trademark double-digit losing streak.

All of our losses have been by 18+ points or more yikes

I didn’t expect to win and I completely get it with all the injuries I just want the team to be competitive in some of these games. We are getting or doors blown off when we get beat and it’s disheartening for the fans and I know it can’t be good for the players.

I’ve defended BI more than any other player these past few years… but he just doesn’t look like a player I’d want to invest near max level money into for this franchise. I think Trey can step into the starting lineup for him and our ceiling rises.

  6. No team can hope to compete without their best, 3rd, 4th, 5th best players out. Obviously some things they can be doing better, but it’s gotta be exhausting as a player seeing this list of inactives grow every game.

Damn only 7 comments. I take it lots of us tuned out.

Sucks to lose, but we were missing half our team

When the starters returned in the second quarter all hell broke loose. Missed bunnies, giving up wide open threes, turnovers… taking out Herb’s D completely magnifies how bad our defense is.

Outside of the 3s I think BI played fairly well. Dyson did his thing defensively, he held Ant to a horrible shooting night. Hawkins stayed aggressive, I like it. Not much else to take away missing 3 starters and more.
