[Bodner] That alternate history where Mike Muscalla misses just one of those 3-pointers is terrifying.

it is important to note that our own pick in 2020 draft was the 19th (that pick was traded to clippers for Tobias Harris). If 2019-2020 Sixers were a good team, then our recrod would be better than OKC’s record. That would push OKC’s pick into 20th.

So, things kind of work out? We played a painful basketball during 2019-2020 season. But we got Maxey in return.

Absolutely insane what if. And I was lukewarm on the pick in the moment.

With this franchise, it’s probably best not to dwell on “what ifs”, good or bad

  4. I would be ok if you deleted this post.. I don’t want to think about that reality

I hope Wells Fargo cheered every time he touched the ball.

OKC would be fucking terrifying with a Shai Maxey back court

Can someone please explain this to a casual?

What if we didn’t trade Tatum for Fultz, what Simmons wasn’t a bust, what if…

We spent nearly a decade dealing with random unlucky BS that it’s only fair that we get thrown a bone at least once

I mean, we’d be colosally fucked. Thankfully he hit them!

I will take this outcome if we make Larry Brown pick Paul Pierce in 1998.

Good thing parallel universe me has to deal with that. Better him than me

  12. That’s ok, because we’ve had MUCH more than our share of shitty luck with draft prospects, so this was god’s way of evening it out.

There is no world in which so many consensus correct/best picks should run into so many issues.
