I know many will disagree on this but I think Kai Jones fits the Mavs system but they just have to control this kid's mental issue.
Tough loss to Toronto yeah we need (badly) a backup Center next to Lively
Sign Dwight Howard or Demarcus Cousins
Drummond will be great fit..but we can have back up without trading assets by signing Hassan Whiteside for back up C

Why Turner didnt happen?
Scrape the roster to trade for a center.
AND WHY does Lively still not part of the core? Hes a game changer. Traditional or smallball he should be in the thick of every crucial part of the game.
Dallas's rebound is weak so they have to play with 2 big centers = Lively and Richards or Sharpe and not with a small weak center like Powell or Kleber and 2 wings. Dallas needs strong wings like Williams and not small ones like Green.
Most the centers listed are young and have to much potential right now. I don’t see what mavs have to offer to get them. All those teams want a young player back or draft compensation. Like honestly if you want a back up sign Kai jones on a minimum deal and let markief walk.
