[Fischer] “Everything that needed to be done in Golden State got done,” Jordan Poole told @YahooSports . “I got a ring. Made sure my family is straight. A good situation to come in and just kind of have my own team.” On a new beginning in the nation’s capital:

Good to see how positive he is.
Old news, he thinks his legacy is secure with a ring, though his legacy will be just as much for getting KO’d
**his** *OWN* team?
he’s right
Does he know why gsw traded him?
GSW PR is nasty and you saw another example of it with how frequent the Poole slander was afterwards.

even if he doesn’t become a great player, so what? why does that mean everyone should hate on him and throw him under the bus lmao
So does Wiseman, except the own team part
Who would have thought that a shooter with no conscience would forget the misses and revel in his opportunity to shoot more shots?
Real question here: does he get the contract from GSW if Dray doesn’t punch him?
He has an opportunity to **make** this his own team, but he’s currently squandering that opportunity.
Not saying it was right, but I can see where Draymond’s coming from.
you hear that wizards fans? its his team now
JP has never said one bad word about the Dubs or Draymond, despite literally everyone having to say something about JP every other week.
Say what you want about JP on the court, but he’s been very mature about the entire ordeal.
I mean he’s only 24 years old and already secured a 100+mil contract, won a ring.
Not every player has the motivation or goal to become the best ever, some might feel accomplished just being in the NBA.
he’s not wrong. i cant help but respect it tbh. ring, check. money, check. now he can do whatever he wants
If his career ended today he’d be more successful than 90% of current nba players. Can’t complain about that!
nah, it’s Kuz Control
If you think this is Jordan Poole’s (17ppg on 41/31/79) team over Kyle Kuzma (25ppg on 50/35/83) then I really don’t want to hear your opinion on anything basketball related
GLORIFIED NICK YOUNG
I think Jordan is net net, a joke of an NBA player That I wouldn’t want on my team, but I think this brings up a real conversation that not every player is trying to win rings, and become the hero in basketball nerd circles. At the end of the day these players want to make generational wealth for their future kids and grandchildren and if he’s happy doing what he’s doing then who the hell are we to judge? They basically worked an unpaid full-time job in the AAU circuits playing nonstop basketball for 10 years and I think a lot of them hit the NBA and feel like they want to coast, get paid, and some of them just love winning more than hate losing and I think that’s OK.
This belongs in I am the main character sub
How can you even be mad at this dude? He was pivotal in the ring and got subsequently paid for it. Now he gets to play however he wants and doesn’t even matter if he gets another contract. He literally is living the dream
Why am I supposed to hate him?
Jordan Poole is currently scoring 17.4 PPG on .486 EFG on “his” team
Bruh the wizards are not your team, you get benched for entire fourth quarters because you suck lmao.
Kuz is the leader of the team
Good for him tbh.
Nothing wrong with this statement
Kuzma and Poole, the new Wall and Beal…bahahhahaha man…poor wizards fans…
Not a fan of his ego
That man is out here living his best life
Nothing he said here is a bad thing, y’all just hate this man so much for no reason it’s baffling.
With how the media treated him during the championship season I don’t blame him for having this mindset.
Really don’t understand all the hate Poole gets, especially from other warriors fans. The man helped us win a chip and we always traded him away. I’m gonna be cheering for him the rest of his career, it’s just sad to see so many people shitting on the guy
Y’all wanting Poole to fail is sad
Sounds like he’s living his best life. I can’t hate on that
