Pistons fan here and I want to say how much I love Maxey and think he would’ve been a great Piston. Sad we missed out.
I missed this game but good shit boys
Also what is with some random people’s hard-on for springer?? Found a whole thread on Twitter of people genuinely mad that Melton is getting minutes over him. Wtf
Can we just pretend those Marcus Morris minutes never happened?
The line on that game was +9.5, if I was a bettor I would be sick about how it ended haha
watching the nets get absolutely cooked by payton pritchard is funny as hell
Great game, fun pistons team to watch. Wishing them a good season
Clippers down 28. 🤦🤦
Get fucked Celtics!! FTC!!
I was enjoying the Clippers downfall at first but now it’s just depressing.
Guys I bet my life savings on the sixers covering the spread tonight how do I sue the tony brothers
Maybe it’s Tobi baiting me into thinking he’s coming around again but I feel like he’s gonna continue to succeed now that it’s not fucking Doc Rivers coaching this team.
19/6/3/1 on 38% from 3 and 60% (which is 10 higher than his career) from the field is a great third option player.
Celtics have an all white lineup on the floor right now. Must be like Christmas to those fans.
I feel like the clippers need to move Westbrook to the bench or something, it was rough they gave all their depth but part of the issue is Westbrook and Harden just don’t go together no matter how much you try, but that’s a demotion and idk how he’d feel about that.
I expect us to win every game now
Meanwhile Clippers are getting thrashed
Clips aren’t looking so hot this year. They should blow it up at the deadline. Maybe we can even get James Harden from them
/s
Anyway I said to myself I wasn’t gonna get hopeful about this team ever again after last year.
Fuck man they keep dragging me back in. The void of pain and suffering in the absence of the Phillies needs filling.
Bruh the Clippers are a dumpster fire
Tobi haters where yall at
I actually don’t hate harden nearly as much as a lotta people on here probably, but if he’s on the floor tonight I feel like there’s no way we regroup at half and come back and win this game after that sloppy start. You could always tell after like 5 mins if he had it that night or not, and if not it felt like the whole team just folded around him.
TELL A FRIEND TO TELL A FRIEND
Sixers fans need to stop talking about Tobias like he’s just some potential salary match on a mid season trade and not our 3rd best player.
-major shoutout to Tobias Harris, just by buying in. His energy and effort have just been at another level tonight.
-These kind of games are gonna be scrappy, but it’s why you have the best player in the world(Joel Embiid.
-I’m not concerned about Maxey from a shooting prospective, even the best shooters have struggles. But it should show you what I was saying during preseason. We NEED another volume shooter. Maxey can’t be both our best playmaker, our second unit guy AND our only shooter. Our top priority needs to be to get him some freaking back court help.
Clippers are a shambles, thanks for the wing depth bitches 🤣🤣🤣
doc rivers team gives up after that shitty 1st half
Maxey continues to amaze. Legit 2nd star. Future is bright.
Credit to Melton to keep shooting and finally hit two 3s.
Tobi bully ball, love it.
Embiid doing Embiid things
7-0 run!
need the jazz and grizzlies to both lose somehow so they are ripe for blowing up, that should be allowed for the in season tournament i would say
Tyrese Maxey is a second half bucket, duh. But the play making flashes are turning into blinding lights that opposing defenses are going to have to respect. I’m loving every bit of it.
Does the in season tournament do anything to benefit the actual playoffs
Sixers Wingmen > Paper Clips
In other news anybody hear that new Meek and Ross?
It’s still hilarious to me that Embiid knew the line was -8.5 and chucked up that 3
Grizzlies continue to suck, we bring Ja aboard for the second half of the season/championship. Let’s go.
Excellent win.
Credit to Detroit…they were hitting everything. Good to see the Sixers just grind it out.
Hopefully that Pat Bev injury isn’t serious. Pat Bev is actually a contributor so losing him actually impacts the team.
Watching the Clippers Mavs game and Luka is just toying with Harden
Tbf he’s fucking toying with them all rn

Slow start but Nurse adjusting in the second half is refreshing. We’ve been so starved of basic shit that we’re in awe when someone is doing their job. Wing defenders, supposed shooters draining shots, scorers living up to their reputation, a coach who actually coaches a team actively, a contender flipping the switch and just dominating.
S/o to Maxey, 0 turnovers and he’s finding out how to be a more effective defender. Embiid looks like he is gunning for DPOY. That last three should count. On to the next one!
this gotta be so embarassing for harden
what an awful awful decision on his part.
This is the first time in a long time that I’ve felt confident that the Sixers can come back from a deficit and also hold onto a lead. Such a nice feeling ( ik it was the pistons but still )
This could have been a trap game for us, glad we got the W 👍
I think one of the underrated things about the Maxey and Embiid pairing is that they’re about as different as two basketball players can be, but they both sap the stamina of opposing lineups. Maxey is lightning quick and will make you chase him around for the whole shot clock. Embiid is an anvil. You see him wear down opposing front courts all the time because of how much of a load he is.
And for the first time in the process era, we compliment the two of them with a bunch of plug-and-play wings. By the 4th quarter you can see the opposing teams don’t really have their legs anymore and we can pour it on in the fourth.
Luka toying with Harden right now like a dog with a steak
Woah I do not know if Sixers were ready for how the Pistons came out in the 1st they were totally thrown off going back to bad rebounding but the pistons were just getting wayy too many fouls to keep up that momentum I was kind of feeling a Sixers comeback even though watching them play sloppy gives me PTSD XD Now that the flopping rule is there idk why they even get all hyped up about an obvious foul on Embiid. The big man gets practically table topped accidentally and walks it off give him his credit he gives and takes a beating.
It brings me so much joy to see Harden getting shit on and the Clippers being trash because they gave us all their good depth.
So what’s the consensus on the in-season tournament? I’m a huge fan. Although i think they should double the amount of group stage games.
An 82 game season just for 10/15 teams in each conference to make the tournament is weird to me. I wish the playoffs had less teams to really make the regular season games count, but if they insist on that many teams and games, then let’s make more of those games have real implications to win something else.
Although the NBA In-Season Tournament is an awful name lol
Why’d Batum only get 2 shots?
I’m confused. Is the boxscore’s FG% in the wrong place for each team?
just max tobias now… dude is a legit number 3 star.
