I’m gonna be on edge until I find out whether significant is 3 weeks or 3 months.

  2. Thank goodness, car hits are weird.. all depends on the tiniest angles between major injury and a few bruises

  3. GirlWithGame

Well thats a relief that he was released already, not life threatening obviously and nothing needing emergency surgery.

Hope he recovers quickly, not even basketball related. Accidents can screw with your mental health too.

I know he can’t read my dumb reddit comment but heal up Kelly, nothing but love in the city for you(except that uber scumbag but I am hoping justice finds him)

God damn what happened to him. I can’t even picture it

  5. GarfieldFromGarfield

they better not try to rush him back

  6. That’s good, pretty scary that they had to say he was stable.

  7. ranchsauce13

Rest up king. I hope they catch the asshole that did it

Glad he’s already going home. Fuck those reckless Center City drivers

  9. Birdgang14

Glad he’s already home. Such a Shame. He’s fit in perfectly and has been balling. Any news on what is actually hurt?

This whole situation reminded me of the time I got hit by a car 5 years ago when one plowed through a bunch of us students crossing a street like the dude was trying to commit a terroristic attack.

Philly is a failed city. They’ve straight up given up in trying to retain any semblance of order here.

woj has been doing this super annoying thing where he announces something and refuses to give any details whatsoever.

  12. This, to me, screams broken bone. They’re not going to release him that fast with any kind of head injury, and no surgery needed so it’s unlikely a “meat” injury.

  13. Slimeygrimeykun

Glad he’s able to go home man now he can recover in peace we need him

Philly has a reckless driver problem. Every damn day i see cars rolling through stop signs, turning right at “no turn on red” lights. Switching lanes fast. It’s extremely dangerous and this is yet another result of it

  15. TheSixthPistol

Fuck it. Let Kelly take all the time he needs.

  16. You know exactly the type of dipshit driver that did this. Can I bet on the car somewhere because I’ve got a crisp Benjamin on a gunmetal grey charger

  17. GroundskeeperWilly93

If he’s released already I’m assuming it’s a broken bone somewhere. Rest up Kelly, your spot will be waiting for you

I’m guessing til at least the all star break.

Honestly I hope this has a positive effect on pedestrian safety in the city. Shit is lawless on the roads and it’s no secret.

Edit: Obviously wishing all the best for Kelly and his family.

That is great news. Pedestrian incidents are always scary, especially if the car is moving 30mph+
