This legend with his system won a LOT of games in the regular season and lost a few games in the playoffs

Not close at all. But watching the Sixers games makes my blood boil. A proven championship coach was available, a guy who led a Siakam-Lowry-VanVleet team to a 53-19 record after Kawhi left them. But he wasn’t friendly enough for Giannis and Khris.

We may have fired the greatest 5-year tenure coach in NBA history when you consider the record + championship
Most coaches (if they’ve won big) get tossed out once the team goes on the down swing & the franchise changes directions (Snyder, Carlisle, etc)
Dumping Bud after a #1 seed & injured playoff run reeks of shortsightedness
Unfortunately, no way he ever comes back now
It would be easier for him to just join a team like Washington or OKC where there’d be no expectation to win right away — so basically the same reason he chose us over Toronto in 2019
What a disaster— and people saying Bud isn’t the answer are ridiculous
By that measure, there are 29 wrong answers every year
Fanbase took him for granted & constantly bounced between “coach doesn’t matter” (when we won) to “it’s 100% his fault everytime” (when we lose)

So every loss we are going to treat the year like it’s all doom and gloom???? Can someone tell me what going 72-10 and having the one seed does for us? You have a year one coach, two alphas leading to play together, a recovering Khris, and a few new role players finding their way. We are literally only 9 games into the season, and I’ve seen more freak out posts than ever before.
If the Packers use “RELAX” as their term, maybe Milwaukee should us “BREATH” for theirs.

Classic “we didn’t start the season perfectly, so it’s time to hit the panic button”
Even like last season when we got bounced this team was rock solid by January, but the only time that really matters is the Playoffs. If we lose 20 straight but still win a championship it doesn’t matter and it was worth it.
Maybe we should try backing this team for half a season before we call on our HC to be fired lol

Yall need to stop being like this. You can’t fire a coach not even 10 games into the season lol

What do you all think Terry Stotts is up to?

This is funny, but no. 5-4 at this point doesn’t mean anything. Things are still a work in progress and I’m okay with that. Lots of ball left to right the ship. We’ve seen this team have the #1 seed in the east and fail in the playoffs too many times to worry about early struggles, IMO.

Not sure that would help.

Not even remotely close.
