The Raptors were slow to the ball, slow on their cuts, slow on rotations, absolutely abysmal shooting the ball. This is a gut-punch game.

If Darko had listened to everyone about benching Flynn after his poor start we wouldn't be seeing him playing better right now. It's a long season and building a foundation of trust and opportunity is better than just gunning for every game like Nick did last year.

No problem with giving some guys run when the game seemed out of reach. It seems in line with a development style coach, and I guess that’s what I was hoping for this year .. or part of it (the bigger part being ball movement and not isolation heavy basketball, which looks like it still a work in progress.. edit: in terms of the former showing it’s value that is.)
But it is concerning that the starting group doesn’t have a consistent idea of how they want to score on their possessions especially against an elite team … Like why not do more Pascal-Jacob two man if it works? Attack weak defenders .. something. Every time I see Schroder diving into three guys, or the ball is moving but without a purpose and the clock is just winding down to some low percentage desperation shot .. get that it’s gonna be a bad night feeling
