    Kawhi will cost too much. Plus it's a gamble with him because of his availability. I'd rather develop O-Max and stay put with the roster and solidify team chemistry. We need to establish our duo first. We're just 10 games into the season and there's plenty of room for improvement.

    Grant Williams? Kawahi can't guard 2-5 the same way Grant can. Plus give me a committed Grant with 40+% shooting and playing a full schedule over a older less healthy and probably less 3 pt shooting %.

    I think Kawhi would be a good defensive asset for the Mavs. Offensively, the Mavs look excellent.

    Please Dallas don’t do it. All that shines and glistens isn’t gold. Trading for kawhi would mean they’d have to gut their team, a team that is playing superb team ball. Not only is it a risk because of kawhi’s health but it’s an unnecessary one. Kawhi leonard is a free agent next year if he chooses to opt out of his last year why gut the team when they can just hypothetically wait till next year. If kawhi signs the extension he won’t be available for awhile and if he doesn’t one could assume he’d test the waters as a free agent. I say keep the team as is, see what kawhi does and if he’s on the market next summer try to acquire him through free agency. That way they can keep Tim hardaway and Grant.
