Bucks kill these small 3 guard line ups as they are a big team. We need more balance in the team
As a bulls fan, it is frustrating to see either offense is not playing well or defense is not playing well. Chicago has difficult time putting back to back wins because either offense is off or defense is off.
Every time their is a loss you are up in arms. This is basketball teams will lose. With that said we already knew this team was not contending anything. We were a play in team last season and this year teams all around us got better.
Please travel safely, Big Fella… and I definitely hope they get a Very satisfying dub for ya!
It’s clear that the contenders are a few steps above the Bulls. I almost broke my tv when Giannis launched that buzzer beater three. I’m bout ready to pass on Williams, he’s not worth the money that he’s projected to get. The Bulls are better off making changes now rather than later. Hopefully they won’t be stupid enough to keep this roster intact in keeping an aging Derozan and end up paying Williams but I have a feeling that this management is as stupid as I suspect.
Bleacher Report on notable players that are on the trading block as of 11/10 and the Bulls have three players on that list to no surprise…
(10) Buddy Hield
(9) Bojan Bogdanovic
(8) Jermi Grant (Who I have been advocating for but is expensive)
(7) Malcom Brogdon (Who I also been advocating for and immediately solves our PG woes)
(6) Demar Derozan
(5) Alex Caruso (Bulls would be fools to trade him but Caruso may just be our most valuable trade asset)
(4) Zach Lavine… This is what B/R had to say about Lavine for all of the Lavine haters… “While Caruso might have more suitors, LaVine's would be more aggressive. That's because while Caruso can subtly strengthen a team, LaVine has the potential to actually transform one.”
(3) OG Anunoby (Not a big fan but he would be an upgrade over Williams. If the Bulls signal a rebuild Anunoby would be a good addition alongside Williams as both have a similar skillset at the SF and PF position.
(2) Karl Anthony Towns (Chicago would eat him alive. Towns simply isn’t built to play in Chicago and Butler was right all along.)
(1) Pascal Siakam (Is on record stating that he would not resign with any team that trades for him)
Honorable mention…
Tyus Jones (Again… Jones would immediately solve the stagnant offense and our PG woes. I would love for Brogdon to lead the first unit and Jones to run the second unit on this team. Bulls would see an immediate increase in three point shooting, assists and easy buckets… The type of buckets that Ball was setting guys up to get.
You are absolutely right. This team does not make sense when it comes to not playing with heart and not competing every night. There needs to be a change as far as the head coaching job is concern. But problem is AK has faith in Billy Donavan. Billy Donavan is not a good coach who does not know how to coach in the NBA. Along with Mr. 215 Zach Lavine. Zach is not growing to me as a basketball player who wants to win. And he is not the guy who can help this franchise win ball games. I don’t know what is going on with AK the front office but as we speak, I think that there will major changes within the Chicago Bulls franchise.
I said 30 win team last time , now about a 25 win team. Either a 1 possession loss or blow out for these Chicago cows.
Pwill and Vooch had really good games besides for that, nothing
I am at the game versus the Magic I am row 114
Billy Donovan studied the career of Doc Rivers as a coach and said: "Yeah, but listen up…what if I was that bad… from the beginning?? Eh?"
Dude you just don’t get it I have been saying that this team isn’t even competitive. The problem is ZL had 11 points until the 4Q and then it was garbage time.
Damar and ZL are just not doing it. This guy signed 215 M contract. It doesn’t matter this is going to be the same garbage every night
I say play Patrick and all the young players and get rid of Zach, demar, vuc, Drummon, Caruso. They all
Need to go. Billy D is a horrible coach and in typical Bulls fashion they give him a contract extension for getting bounced in the first round and winning one game. Not to mention they give Zach a max contract when he literally disappeared in the one and only playoff appearance in his career. I hate Chicago sport franchises.
I thought Ayo on D was a bright spot as well.
How many times are you going to see Giannis score near the basket and not put him on the free throw line where he sucks.
As I said yesterday, this team is done. The Settlers in the Front Office have not addressed our issues. Zach is not a max player, his basketball IQ is non-existent. Demar does not look like himself. Bright spots are Caruso, Craig, and Vucevic is playing solid.
Welcome to the party pal!
What did you expect?! They were going against the Bucks!! Lol
Don’t trade Pat, trade the others
Bulls ain’t winning against the Magic.
I miss those Thibs era games when we lacked offensive fire power, but still manage to win a lot of games due in large part to defensive effort and discipline.
Trade P Will pleasez He aint what everybody thought he is
These we need these things
1. Get a different coach
2. Break up this core or demar, lavine, and vuc
3. Ethier choose to package demar, vuc dalen terry and a 2nd to get a different player to pair with lavine.
Or package demar & dalen terry for a 2025 1st and a great role player at this year's trade deadline and then draft a big or a wing in the 2024 draft. Then trade vuc for a younger player and a 1st.
Or trade Lavine, demar, vuc, caruso for picks and young players. Then rebuild around the core of Ayo, coby white, pat will, juilan Philips, adama sanga & dalen terry.
Mike Budenholzer I think should be our next head coach.
To be fair, Coby lost several assists on Zach and DeMar's shooting, and trading Pat would be a bad move.
Billy needs to go.
We need to move on from the core
Orlando is going to Molly whop us
I think this all begins with coaching. Seems like the guys aren’t really trusting Billy’s vision anymore. If you don’t want to blow up the whole roster Billy has to go.
Jamaal's last straw would be if we get DELETED by the Magic, kn owing his long lasting beef with Magic fans.🤣
Zach lavine is not a max player or franchise player he hasn’t made the playoffs without derozan.
You really thought the bucks was going to lose 3 games in a row?
Sorry Jamaal I let you know the bulls were doomed to the lottery from the opening press conference… bulls down by 10 and Coby rides the bench for the 4th qtr… carter is not good… f Billy
attended the game, i expected this outcome so had a ton of fun anyway and the bucks fan i was sitting next to was the nicest guy ever (also it was awesome seeing caruso coaching literally everyone from the side the whole time while i never saw billy doing any lol)
Hot take, Fred Hoiberg shouldn't have been fired. He got fired for winning with a bad team. Really set the tone for the culture of the current Bulls
Trade Demar & Zach. It’s time to tank
As A Bulls Fan Since 88'…😢…There Was A Great Hype With D Rose & The Bench Mob Days…Feel Like We're Been Re-Building Forever Since…
It was a super frustrating game fasho, but despite the loss, it was actually a solid game. Zach and DeMar were simply HORRIBLE this game! Yet, despite that, after the 1st quarter, it was a pretty competitive game. Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig were GREAT pickups for this team! They have been doing EVERYTHING that was asked of them. Missing AC had a significant impact as well, considering he's stepped up his scoring efficiency. We just need mfs in our Big 3 to actually perform ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! We're missing Lonzo SO GODDAMN BAD!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!
And with JC playing against his former team!
The Bulls need some changes major changes this loss to the bucks really sucks
I get the frustration and can see the appeal in blowing it up, but we just got done with that a couple years ago. Do we all forget just how bad those rebuilding years were already? Jim Boylen was head coach, guys like Paul Zipser, Jerian Grant, and Shaq Harrison were either starting and/or getting heavy rotation minutes. And we even had a young, explosive player to build around in Zach Lavine. If we blow everything up again, who is the franchise centerpiece this time? Patrick Williams? Coby White? I'd like to think it could be one of them but I'm not so sure that'd be the case as neither of them have consistently proven they have that superstar ability. And if we traded everyone away, sure we might get a couple decent draft picks but we probably wouldn't get any franchise altering young talent in return since we don't have Superstar talent to give up. We got lucky to get Zach and Lauri when our rebuild started, but that's because we gave up a borderline Superstar in Jimmy Butler. We don't have that this time around. We have Zach, DeMar and Vooch. While they're all good players, none of the other 29 teams would give up their best future talent for players who would be the 2nd, 3rd, or maybe even 4th best players on their team. There's just not a realistic scenario where that works out for the Bulls, unless the Bulls are so bad after tearing it all down, that they get lucky and get the #1 pick in a good draft a couple of years from now. And even then you have to get really lucky.
I'd actually prefer the Bulls trade one of their current "Big 3" (likely DeRozan since he's the oldest and on an expiring contract) to get either a starting caliber PG or PF in return plus maybe one 1st round pick. Nothing against Demar, but the team needs more balance in the starting lineup (playmaking, shooting and defense) and is at it's best playing fast and disruptive. Unfortunately DeMar is the exact opposite of all of those things especially since he is getting older now and has lost a step. Have Zach and Vooch be the go to guys for the rest of the year. That's how it was when they first traded for Vooch and it actually was okay. Not great, but not terrible. Having one of the big 3 gone also opens up the spot for PWill to make a significant impact again. And if things go well for him in his continued rehab, maybe we even get Lonzo back next year. He probably wouldn't be close to what he was before he got injured, but his basketball IQ would still probably be good enough for him to be our starting PG.
TL:DR I'm probably one of the few who don't want to see the Bulls go in a full rebuild as they are quite painful, and would actually rather see them retool for the next year or 2
Ayo is taller & a better defender than Javon Carter
