You gotta understand… this is their strategy. They have to promote this as Draymond just protecting his guys and timberwolves being the actual dirty players. This allows that message to go out on national media and then you get tools like J.J. Reddick and Joy Taylor repeating it tomorrow morning and it trends on social media. Thus, now the league is in this position where they’ll be criticized by some members of national media being like that is too harsh of a punishment. Essentially, the warriors have to control the narrative in their favor. It’s the reason Poole can get punched in the face and he’s the one being ridiculed daily for an entire season.
