we really have to stop forcing threes. take it to the hoop and kick it out if it presents itself. that being said, give podz and moody more minutes and send wiggins to a sports psychologist.

  2. shanks_you

We free falling until further notice.

Spotlight will obviously be on the fight, but Podz was ballin’ today and almost got the win.

  3. park7911

BP needs to be in the rotation going forward.

Steve’s insistence on using Corey Joseph lost them the game. I don’t know why he can’t bring himself to trust Moody for an extended period

    Wiggins still not scoring enough.

    Draymond is getting suspended.

  4. ImperialTiger3

I just wanna say shoutout to Mike Dunleavy. Drafting Podz in the first when there were others ranked “higher” than him. Leveraging his connections to draft Trayce Jackson Davis (his brother is TJD’s agent). I’ve also heard that he’s the one who scouted Poole which turned out to be a steal of a pick and helped us win a chip. Also signed some pretty good free agents this year (Dario).

  5. Skithefool

Wiggins is completely checked out. Dude sucks out there.

  6. tyrusthomas11

With how the Dubs were playing tonight and getting that double digit lead, I regretted not getting those cheap tickets today. But then I felt vindicated with that 4th quarter…rough.

  7. Charlie_Wax

Damn. Wasted the Podfather’s breakout game.

At what point do we worry about Kuminga? Is he just Anthony Randolph 2.0? All potential? No output?

  8. Paul and Wiggins absolutely nowhere to be found when they were needed most

  9. Sokkawater10

Kerr has made some really inexplicable coaching choices the last two years

  10. BobRoss4Life

Big ups to Podz, hell of a showing from the rook. Team high +11

Dray owes the entire locker room an apology… again.

  11. SeekingSignificance

3 starters out and Wiggins gives me 9 fucking points with 5 fouls and 4 turnovers… That ain’t a shooting slump and don’t come at me with that absurd teenage girl excuse about him missing Poole.

  12. dwide_k_shrude

Play the young guys and sit Wiggins. Podz deserves all the minutes you can give him.

  13. vibrolator

Not seeing any signs of Kuminga 3rd year leap tbh

  14. IsThisMe8

If CP3 is going to have the ball in his hands in those last few minutes, he needs to shoot it. He passed over so many open shots!

  15. blur_reqz

CP3 had a wide open middy/floater at the end and passed it off to Dario for a three that got blocked instead. C’mon man…

  16. limegreenleaves

Wiggins needs to get out of his slump 🙁

  17. All I know is someone on this team and picks is getting traded for a scorer

  18. Finessing2

Chris Paul has been hitting mid-range jumpers his whole life. Now he is a warrior he cannot shoot?

  19. koleke415

Felt like not enough Moody and GPII. And Chris Paul way too passive, getting to the middle of the key and then doing anything but shooting.

  20. Boostaru

CP3 not taking an open midrange shot is crazy… also Wiggins trying to constantly attack the paint against Gobert and getting blocked each time was obnoxious.

Obviously the game was closer than anyone had expected with 3 starters being out… but this game was winnable man…

  21. StephenPurdy69

    Kuminga is not him.

And Corey Joseph should get zero minutes rest of season. He’s not a development player. He does nothing as a vet presence.

He singlehandely killed our momentum twice.

  22. tangohorizontal

CP3 had a horrible 4th, but dude is also way too old to be playing 36 minutes. Crazy to say that the biggest loss from Klay is really just not having enough bodies to soak up the minutes.

  23. tinymailman

I think in preseason we were memeing that our bench could beat some starting squads. Considering how they played the Wolves and that the wolves beat the Nuggets and Celtics, I’d say our bench could probably beat both those teams😂

  24. StinkmeanerIV

Hard to believe that we started 6-2. We’ve lost 4 straight and 5 of the last 6. We’ve been absolutely dogshit at home!

The positive takeaway is that Saric has been a good signing and we need to play Podz & Moody (TJD should get more minutes too) far more because they have a great feel for the game & play hard!

  25. SuperMonkey2

In a game without Steph (and then Dray+Klay), Kuminga and Moody play roughly 15 minutes a piece. What even is the plan for them at this point?

But moral victories I guess with Podz showing up.

  26. arsene_0

I’m sad we lost but damn the team put up alot of fight against the best defense in the NBA rn. Especially while missing the trio this game. Podz balled out like crazy, hoping Kerr puts him more in the lineup from here on.

  27. ArtfulLying

As much as it pains me, Kuminga looking like one athletic bust. Homie has literally negative tools in his toolbox. There is not a single thing he can do out there without someone spoon feeding his ass.

  28. Itezguatitez

Steve Kerr lost this game playing Cory Joseph and sitting Podziemski those 2 minutes in the 4th. To make it even worse, he played Cory alongside Cp3.

Cory Joseph, at this stage in his career, is closer to Wanamaker with way worse defense than a decent point guard

I hope we don’t see him on the court unless it’s absolutely necessary because we’re without a ton of guys like today. He’s been washed for about two years.

His teammates seem to like him so I guess him having a spot is cool since we still have a 15 spot open. Production wise, Javonte Green would be so much better but whatever. I just don’t want him taking one second away from Podziemski minutes

  29. Shamanboi408

if dray somehow gets suspended from the scuffle.. suspend cory joseph too. i do not want to see him on the floor ever

  30. GSWarriors1130

Warriors losing is like Christmas for r/NBA

What getting dicked by the same team for half a decade does to a mfer

  31. The bad news:
We are now 0/3 the last three games with the wolves and Dray needs to take an L that Gobert has 3 DPOY and he needs to let it go.

    The good news:
Brandin Legitski is good basketball player.

  32. TheScienceNamesArgon

Kerr must see something in Moody that we don’t because Moses, to me, looks so steady and reliable out there. Not always flashy, but dependable. And yet, he doesn’t see the court much even after these years of development.

  33. swiftycent

Proud of Podz. But they really needed that win…Steph and Draymond probably both out for at least a week following that.

  34. Achilles_Wrist

Those first 3 quarters were so incredibly fun — big strength in numbers vibes

A little in disbelief at the 4th quarter with the turnovers but that’s nothing new

If anything, I’m disappointed in the core vets, nothing else needs to be said. Shoutout the entire bench and the rooks for making that competitive

  35. Pootahtoo_Man

I’m disgusted at our veterans. Wiggs killed our momentum and CP3 was passing open looks, but we lost the game the moment our available “core leaders” got ejected. Set such a bad example and left the team to compensate and probably get gassed at the end. Kerr seriously needs to talk to them and switch the rotations because what this team can do with them on the bench was phenomenal.

  36. ProfessionalSpirit84

Another immense leadership effort by Draymond Green yet again. When the going gets tough (aka Steph is out), Draymond gets going as well pulling off another bitch move today and getting himself ejected

The less said about Wiggins the better, the guy has reverted to a somehow worse version of Minnesota Wiggins because atleast there he used to put up an empty 20. This brother can’t even get to 10 points (he’s gotten there I think once in 12 games), it’s actually embarrassing

Kuminga has shown little to no improvement with his flaws. Shooting hasn’t really come along, the handles look awful.

Positives were Moody, Podz and Saric. These guys showed up today and made sure the game was close to the very end.

Chris Paul kinda sucked today and you could see his limitations. He’s not really an offensive engine anymore and in those situations we need a spark plug that played the role Poole used to. Maybe Lester? Podz if he continues this? Not sure who, but we look offensively inept right now.

  37. RustySync511

Didn’t catch the whole game, but why are Kuminga and Moody not playing more than 20 minutes without Klay and Dray?

  38. Aintnostoppingusnow

Wiggins has not been the same since his extended leave last year. He doesn’t owe us the reason why but obviously there’s still something going on behind the scenes. It makes me sad he just doesn’t have the spark that he did before. I hope he can find it again the dubs really really need him.

  39. stayfrosty

Kuminga’s ball handling is atrocious. He is dribbling the ball too high and its too loose. Its what’s keeping him from taking the next step.

  40. 1-5 at home, 5-1 on the road. What the actual f.

  41. So upsetting. So close to winning. Proud of our team though, especially Podz & Saric, they balled out. The Wolves & their cocky ass fans are annoying af, 2x play in champs getting to their heads lol. Hope we can right the ship and get back to winning because the West is wild.
