[Gatlin] Asked Jabari Smith Jr. about his mentality not closing the #Rockets last two games: “We winning. I ain’t really tripping about it. Jeff closing the game is great. It’s good for me to see what he’s doing in those situations, why he’s in, and just learn from it.”

Wish Jabari was doing better, but at least he has the right mentality and I’m confident he’ll work to get better.
Bari might be my number two favorite on this team behind The goat bringer, SennGod
I think a big step for Jabari next off-season will be to bulk up. It’ll help him stay on the floor defensively against these more physical 4s like Zion/Gordon. That seems to be where he’s struggling the most defensively right now
This is the right attitude. We’re winning and he’s watching & learning. He’s got the physical gifts, he seems smart, and with this mindset there’s nowhere to go but up.
Let’s talk trash about a kid who can’t drink alcohol or smoke legally until the old age of 21 come on GTFO. Sorry just mad young kids have hit and miss game it’s his second season in the National Basketball Association. Let’s throw the dream under the bus he was the first overall pick and didn’t win ROTY throw him to the dogs! This reminds of the dumbass commercial it’s my money and I want it now!!!
Thats the difference between a winning team. Being benched when the team was losing anyway must have these dudes like “???”
Great awareness and attitude and here’s to hoping he takes action to squeezing his way in for the better. That’s what you want really. He’s really in his own head but we all have to confront our obstacles in life and not everyone would get it out of the gate. Hope he does it with the Rockets. 🤘
