Needing shooting to space the floor for Cade. 5 guys in the lane is unacceptable. I’m starting Ivey or Burks and sitting Hayes. Knox has played well in his few games since signing but I’m working on a trade to get Kuzma from Washington and try to sign OG this offseason.
The only true positive i see is that Cade has been healthy. I see very little good, other than that!
What does Luka do? He's not super-athletic, but he is able to get his shots off. I know he's a little heavier than Cade.

Ausar first team defense. Duren men amongst boys when healthy. Ivey point a minute guy off the bench. Killian some of the best assist to t.o. ratio in the league. Burks a monster. Bagley a bucket. If we can just stay healthy and adjust to how they're playing Cade and our new system we'll be fine. Rough schedule to start doesn't help. But take anyone's leading scorer from the year prior out and they'll struggle.
Love Cade but 20 pts/game on 20 shots is disgusting and the turnovers have been ridiculous. Can’t say I haven’t been impressed by Cade but I can’t say he’s moved me that much either. Like y’all said about Ivey, it’s not like Cade has necessarily been a world beater either.
Isn't the second scorer suppose to be IVEY, that why we drafted him to be another go to guy. His defense is ok, on a bad defensive team. If the team defense was better his would be better, so he should be starting and getting 33+mpg. Monty coaching is very questionable at this point.

The piston management, has shown players in the league they can not be trusted, they will trade you even while preforming good, they lie to player about drafting them then don't, they limit player minutes that deserve it. Im staying positive there's potential to right the ship with the available cap space and soon the key players will be return. There's $50+ million in contracts that are sitting on the bench. Every game is there's either Burks hurt, Ivey Hurt, and / or Duren Hurt. Once Harris and Bojan returned I'm pretty sure the lineup will look different and Cade will play his game.

Its not very hard to understand why they are struggling. You are right they are triple teaming cade because he is literally the only one on the floor that can beat you. It doesn't matter how many 3's beef stew hits… teams know he doesn't have the ability to go for 40 or 50 cade does. Monty is really hurting cade by not having Ivey in the starting line up and actually running plays for him. If Ivey is going the way he can, the defense can't just focus on cade because Ivey can hurt you. Burks, sasser etc…. they are roll players…. this team needs to develop a second go to guy.
I'm definitely still on the cade bandwagon but I think I finally see what Dave bing meant. He's a franchise corner stone but we're still missing a generational talent to put next to him.
And duren's bad ankle has me concerned that this is going to be a constant issue. I sense either a season ending or off season surgery on the horizon* knocks on wood*
Killian is lead best in assist to turn overs ratio. Turn overs is why we losing. Imagine if shooters surround him?. Cade leads the league in turnovers and should be a wing its so obvious.
I think both of you are vastly undervaluing Jayden Ivey as a scorer you were mentioning him in the same breath as a rookie who has played 10 games in the NBA. Did you not watch last year at all? I don’t know if you’re doing it to avoid the controversial take we’re not, but it doesn’t do anybody any good to completely under value a player who has shown Hooten consistently score of the ball when he’s on the floor.
I don't think the Pistons need a two as much as most. I wouldn't get Lavine. We need a stretch 4 to improve this team. Our Bigs outside of Duren are absolute trash. When will we address this need? Kevin Knoxx??
Has nothing to do with chemistry bad coaching and a inconsistent message is the reason. Benching Ivey and acting like he didn't have a good rookie season. You guys are talking around the true issues. I get it you guys have a job to protect but lets be real. Ivey per 36 min is 19.5 ppg 6 asts and 5 rebs right now. On 49% FG and 36% 3pt. Thats your other 20 ppg score and he's being buried on the beach. That would mitigate another of Bogi's production but some people would rather just push the notion that Monty knows best. Well 9 losses in a row shows that may not be true.
The young people can't develop because Monty is not playing them.
That is the reason they should start Ivey. Ivey is the only player that create his own shot and shot 3s respectfully.
Ill say it again, Killian, Ivey, Cade, Ausar, Duren would be ideal if you want both offense and defense. Killian would be the lead ball handler and Ivey and Cade can focus on scoring while Ausar and Duren grab rebounds and the occasional lob or pick and role attack at the rim.
The excuses for Cade play smh
I expect Killan to be able create his own shot and average 8-10 assist a game and average about 8ppg and with 2 steals. Something got makeup for his lack of shooting.
Why are we talking about Lavine instead of Ivey. The options are in the house.
We don't know if Ivey can handle the scoring, he has not had the opportunity to do so. Killan had 5 years to show it. Ivey is in his second year. Let's see what Ivey has.

Some people dont understand basic basketball. The reason Cade is being squeezed is because there's no floor spacing. They got 3 non shooters in the starting 5. People arent afraid to leave Hayes or Ausar or Bagley open. None of them can shoot. They just close off the lane and force Cade into traffic. Its basketball 101. Until Monty changes the starting 5 nothing will change.
