Stop – Utah & New O both were #1 at some point last year….But it's an 82 game season and reality set in. 10ish games is not enough to say they look like a play-off team.
I'll keep it simple savy Romp. This Rockets team has exceed my expectations so far to a point that I already forgot all the frustration and drama from not landing Wemby in the draft. At this point, coach Udoka should be the front runner for coach of the year.
Ok rockets happened to be doing good at the beginning of the season but you overrate vanvleet too much sir. He a chucker and not the point guard who can run the floor that well
i love my rockets and jokingly the past 5 years i would say "this our year we going all the way" not actually believing they would even make playoffs and i said it again this pre season and i'm actually kinda shocked they are playing really well lol
Amazing when a young team adds not only a competent HC and coaching staff, but one of the top NBA coaches who has a high standard for his players, while also signing the right veterans that will hold their teammates accountable, can turn a young inexperienced team around.
Last Season with Stephen Silas, it was evident the entire roster does not respect him and completely tuned him out. KPJ was the PG and veteran, which was a major issue. As a veteran, Eric Gordon was horrible. He didn't care much about holding the young guys accountable nor was he interested in help guiding them. He completely checked out the moment Rockets rebuild. His focus was just contributing on a contender and not be a veteran to youngsters.
just a reminder for pepple . no team went for vanvleet even after his insane regulars season because apparently more point better player . and why derrick white isn't on the top 100 despite Celtics perfoming worse when he is not on the floor than any other player .
Young players need someone to be on their a$$ when they aren't playing like they should. Obviously Silas wasn't doing that, and the kids were running the house. Now you see Jalen, Alperen, and Jabari playing with more intensity and effort. Not just playing hard whenever they felt like it. They needed a push, now you see the results when they get it. Talent was never a question.

Thanks to Udoka we now have by far the best coach of the top 3 teams on the East 👌 Celtics should have never fired him.
Not really. Nuggets bench is always exploitable, Rockets were capable of that last year as were most teams, lol.

Rockets really stole udoka just like the texans got demeco. Now with both teams having good coaching things are looking ALLOT better.
