    Not certain that this is who the Sixers should jump to get. In the meanwhile, the rumor serves to maybe help move other trade target teams to make a trade out of concern that the Sixer’s assets end up traded elsewhere.

    We need a catch-and-shoot 3&D player who plays solid defense (e.g. OG & Bridges)… Therefore, I pass on Lavine because his net-positive offense + defense is negligible while most likely having to include Tobias in the trade and being locked in for 4 years of $40+ mil for a talented yet one-dimensional player!!l

    Embiid and Maxey are Uber talented but the Sixers need a demanding, salty floor general who knows how to navigate the tough postseason waters. Talent alone is generally not enough.

    Sixers just need better wings that can hit the 3, Nico and Roco would be really efficient on the second unit, if they get an elite wing(s), they will be incredibly better. Lavine just a scorer, need scoring from 3 and solid perimeter defense. Caruso would be alot better but he's going to be apart of a bidding war with other contenders, would 76ers be willing to trade alot of assets for a Caruso-type? I'd consider for sure. The era of the superteam is over, as long as you have two stars that compliment each other well, build around that. Why screw up the dynamic and add that headache of incorporating an offensive dominant player who has no history of team winning basketball. Seems like a mini version of Harden, like you said.

Instead of first so I think his scoring would be there especially since a team would be sending there heat defenders at maxey nd embid first OG doesn’t fit us he just as in consistent as Lavine his defense is mediocre I don’t think he would play well against Boston

    I don’t think they need Lavine, but they do need another ball handler, like a happy medium. Jordan Clarkson isn’t a bad shout. Not as good as Lavine but would embrace a bench role and gives you that secondary ball handler. Just don’t think it’s the wisest decision to deplete all our assets for another steep contract, especially for a guy that’s only played 4 playoff games.
