Would you prefer to win games? I’m not sold on Unseld by any means, but this post this year, this year doesn’t really make sense.
Honestly if you don’t like Unseld you really don’t want him winning games this year. A couch who could win consistently with a roster this bad might be the greatest mind in NBA history and should immediately be inked to a forty year contract.

I’m still not sure what I think of Wes as a coach, particularly in light of the fact that we’re not really trying to win.
Judging by the development of young players — which really should be the main thing — I see improvement in Deni and Gafford, and I don’t think Pop, Phil Jackson and Red Auerbach put together could turn Johnny Davis into a useful NBA player, so no blame on Wes for that.
Is there a player whose lack of development you think is his fault? If so, who and why?

They should have let him go before the season. He was toast from the get-go. But I guess they didn’t feel like they could get anybody better to come in.
As soon as someone else is available at the end of this season, I think he’s going to head out. Maybe Mike Malone will pick him back up.
He’s a fine coach….for a veteran team. We’re not that. We have young guys. He’s completely out of touch with them. He’s a professional who has a demeanor for other professionals. The guys that will still be here in March are all kids and young minded.
This team is full of guys screwing up. They need a yelly motivator. Unseld Jr is not that. Even his yelling sounds corporate. He has the personality of a houseplant as a coach. You get a guy like him when you have a roster full of vets like the Clippers or something.
Wiz need someone to scream at them and get them in line. I wanted Sam Cassell last time. Still do. Him or Kara Lawson. I can see why Ted picked Unseld. The family connection and Wes talks corporate and x’s and o’s and that had to sound thrilling to Ted.

Are people really shocked that a team intentionally set up to fail for the next 3-5 years is failing constantly? Dawkins & Winger literally told us this was the plan.
