Anyway I agree totally with this take.
The fact that people feel the need need to state that just shows you how fucking poor quality the discourse around Herro is

Let’s examine some of the things that contributed to our 1-4 start.
First, Love was in the starting lineup. Jimmy, and we can all agree was playing like he didn’t want to be on the court. JRich, who’s playing better now was looking washed. Jaime wasn’t playing a lot of mins. Bryant was backup center, we’ve looked better with Love taking his mins at back up C. Highsmith starting at the 4 should’ve been the move from the start.
Bam missed the Bucks game, that’s an L. Jimmy missed the wolves game that’s an L. We won the Lakers and Wizards game with Tyler and were up on the Grizzlies when he got hurt. The team is currently playing bad teams that they should be able to beat even without Tyler. But sure, it’s all Herro’s fault that we were 1-4 lol.
There’s always a narrative this fanbase is trying to spin about Tyler. It’s weird.

Second, fuck this take. I agree we aren’t better without Herro but I still think we have the players to take on anyone. This still has shades of doomer and it sucks.

Fans fall in love with roleplayers too much. The main problem with the heat since jimmy got here is they haven’t had a true consistent three level offensive player. Whether it’s Tyler, Dame, Lavine or someone else if they want to actually get over the hump, they need that kind of player.
We still need to improve at PG and PF/C.
Heat are not better without herro. They just play a different style without him, this is objectively true and not deniable. This style (eye test and #s wise) is probably better. However that’s not all herros fault they don’t play like that when he’s in, especially since heat coaching and FO enable him to do that.
They need to reorient the offense into that style even with herro in the mix. Think that requires a buy in from coaching and the player. If they do, great I think this team could unlock something they haven’t before. If not, then fine it’s more of the same which isn’t bad, but not great.
