[Thompson] An unofficial players meeting seemed to be taking place, enough for the Warriors to close the view of their practice court with a black curtain. But balls were bouncing. Music was playing. A collection of players were huddled on the court. In the middle was Steph, CP3, JK, GP2, etc.

Our 2nd and 3rd scorer aint scoring. That’s why we’re bad. So yeah. Doesnt help our bench is looking great in comparison to them as well.

  2. The paragraph that precedes this/opens the article I think also helps to explain how the overall mood is:

“After their fifth consecutive loss, the Warriors locker room was jarringly empty. No bowed heads and brooding moods to be found. No sulking. No visible signs of frustration. No people. Nearly an hour after their latest Chase Center thud, a 128-109 drubbing Thursday at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder, most of the players were on the practice court.”

Motherfuckers. This sounds like regular practice

The whole “we’re not worried” stance everyone on the team has is worrying

Klay needs to or needed to hop on some PEDs as soon as he tore his ACL in 2019 for recovery and now for longevity. It’s vital that any older player, especially one coming off such an injury, leverage whatever they can.

It’s the entire reason LeBron is still decent at his age (LeBron has basically been a massive PED monster his entire playing career). Conor McGregor turned into a unit recovering from his broken ankle for example.

It’s good for us as fans as we get to see our favorite players play well and for longer. I’m sure Tom Brady was doing something to be 45 and still throwing impressive deep balls while Peyton Manning & Drew Brees late into their playing careers couldn’t throw more than 10 yards.

I wish I was a fly flying around the court – would have loved to see who was being cursed out:-)

  7. The unofficial players only meeting, love the new twist on it.

Maybe they were saying they should actually run real plays for kuminga instead of just post ups.
