I mean yea, let’s win. But like, I still give no fucks about the in-season tournament. What incentive do fans have to care about it? It’s meaningless in terms of prestige. Fans don’t care that players in the winning team get bonus prize money.
You want to make us care? Make it mean something in terms of seeding towards the playoffs somehow. Idk how, but I’m sure something could be worked out. Give the winning team another first round draft pick next year. Idk, but if the league wants viewership and passion towards it, give a reason for fans to actually care about their team winning the thing. Because I guarantee fans don’t give a shit about the players getting a bonus worth more than 99.9% of us make in a year
… oh an get rid of these horrible ass court designs. They hurt my eyes and make it more difficult to follow the ball. They make the tv viewing experience worse
People hate on the in-season tournament for the sake of hating. If the players play harder and they care about basketball in the regular season then it’s a success.
