…and this is why folks should not complain when fans criticize a player even as a rookie. Sometimes, guys just don’t pass the eye test and Patrick never did.
Slow footed, lack of hustle or emotion/killer instinct, and his defense is way over hyped.
Using youth, playing with too much talent around him (lol) is just an excuse. His head isn’t in it this year. People kept hyping his summer highlight videos, when even those weren’t that impressive.
Sometimes folks refuse to see what is in front of them.
