    Teams better not be butthurt over this stuff. The NBA should want teams to do things that make it seem like the games matter more than a regular season game and this is the kind of stuff they should do.

    And this is part of the reason why the nba cup has been a hit so far IMO. I thought it was a dumb idea at first, but now that I’m seeing it play out I’m into it. The weird courts. The games all being on friday night. The point differential consequences. All good things.
