[Baraheni] Just went to review the film: The Raptors had 5 offensive possessions in the final 1:30 of play. Pascal Siakam did not touch the ball in those possessions (other than to in-bound it) He finished the game with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists on 68% shooting.

Schroder having more touches than Pascal late in games is criminal

Horrible decision making that and getting Scottie back in at like 30 seconds left was dumb af

  3. eLevateAFFN

Not giving pascal the ball when it was 103-103 was plain stupid

Darko and Dennis are the new Fred and Nurse

I know coaches are paid for a reason and coaching staffs etc…but when something is clearly working why go away from it. Pascal was able to score on brown jrue and a lesser extent Tatum. Run that play into the ground especially when it’s been effective.

He can’t hit clutch shots. Smart move

I just dont get this fanbase on one hand it’s all STEP BACK PASCAL ITS SCOTTIES TIME then he does so while being a professional and its USE PASCAL MORE.

Can’t really have it both ways.

Unacceptable, Pascal should have gotten the ball. He was cooking.

Darko isn’t that good guys. He’s a meh coach, with a horrible roster. I haven’t seen much better then nurse at all

So this is a bit of an issue with this style of offensive philosophy that is supposed to be all about read-react. The theory (and Darko has mentioned this several times) is that the ball finds your best players. But sometimes it doesn’t naturally find its way to your best player. Sometimes you have to say, ‘next time down, get the ball to Siakam.’ Or Barnes. Or whomever is hot this game.

Everyone in here complaining about not giving Siakam the ball are the same ones saying to trade him after a bad game
