Spurs are choosing development over winning and that's ok. Just took some getting use to after they said winning was going to be a focus this year. Developing is now priced in and I look forward to the lottery in 2024. Any games this young team wins will be a welcome surprise. Still rooting for them every game. GSG
The spurs are advertising fifty percent discount on tickets on facebook. This is a bad product and it is not fun to watch. You have an All Star that's 28 years Zack Levine, that would like to come here. The spurs need to make it happen.
That might only make us a 500 team this year. But that is a lot better than where we're at.

Good discussion guys. I see JS getting better gradually and his talent is evident in spurts. Believe it or not I think Wemby has killed many hot streaks for the Spurs with his ill timed, unnecessary 3 pointers. Why on earth he isn't averaging 20 rebounds a game is beyond me. Find the open spots around the paint. Get the quick pass, turn around and shoot or take a couple of steps for an easy basket.
For all his ridiculous talent Wemby is clueless as to how to best use his size.
I don’t mind developing young players but someone please explain to me how this is helping the development of Sochan, he is not the point guard/forward or whatever of the future I honestly believe we are hurting him more than helping at this point, put Tre in and bring either KJ, DV, off the bench and use JS as the point for the second unit
The season is lost I think. Problem is it's going to cost Wemby some awards likely he should've easily won like ROY, especially if Chet keeps up the way he has. People think that these things don't have an effect, that there's not repercussions, and that's just not true. Memories are long and Wemby's going to have to hear how he didn't exactly follow in the steps of past Spurs greats and he'll hear that for the rest of his career. And if Wemby doesn't remember, you better believe his personal team will. This for a guy who came in and said he wanted to break all the #1 pick records, that he'd been studying their stats and wanted to surpass them — not just TD's or David's. Normally that wouldn't matter so much — but as we all know, the hype machine is real, even if we're just going by the amount of TV coverage/SM exposure the Spurs have gotten this year — way more than a bottom cellar lottery team deserves. Fact is, the Nat Media gave this franchise the spotlight, in broadcasts, on social media, and the FO did not deliver. Sad to say, but the Spurs were NOT READY for that spotlight. Not ready for prime time. The Spurs did not put Wemby in the position to succeed.
Pop is the liability
The losing stigma is damaging Wemby s marketability. That's potentially tens of millions of $$$ in contracts. At this rate, Chet is going to win ROY
