Perry mentioned that the next move the Knicks should make is to trade for a wing that can create off the dribble and would move RJ Barrett to the small forward. I don't think you understand what Mr Perry said. I 100% agree with him. Moving RJ back to the shooting guard creates a match up nightmare. He is too strong for most shooting guards. Brandon Ingram, Trey Murphy, Jaden McDaniels and Ziaire Williams are all players who can create their own shots. Mikal Bridges is 6'6 at 200 pounds. He is a shooting guard. The Knicks are at the luxury cap. Players like Kawhi and PG13 are too expensive for the Knicks.

That awesome, stacked, slightly warmed, leftover turkey sandwich, drowning in mayo, but ya also gotta put a little gravy on that bitch too (trust me, your whole world changes when you have a carved turkey sandwich with gravy AND mayo)….
dont need no cheese or lettuce or tomato on that sandwich, though it doesnt hurt…. you can "thanksgiving it up" and add some mashed potatoes or spinach or cranberry sauce, yeah yeah fine… but try it like this, if you can/are off:
sleep in late on Black Friday… late breakfast/early lunch, 11ish ( i aint calling it brunch, nah), cut open some bread, slather both sides in mayo, take some nice chunks of both white and dark meat, take a couple tablespoons of gravy on the side, nuke em for 60 seconds TOPS, drizzle that gravy on the ocean of mayo on ur hero, lay the turkey down on it right away, so the heat mixes up and further goo-ifies the "GRAVO" or "MAVY" mix (whichever u prefer to call it, unless ur NOT a schmuck like me and just call it mayo & gravy), dont let no one bother you, and put on something impossible to not LOVE like ROBOCOP or BOOGIE NIGHTS or WRESTLEMANIA 13 BRET VS STONE COLD match, or ANY episode of the simpons seasons 4-6, or Allan Houston kills the heat in the playoffs at the buzzer, whatever just brings u nothing but joy….and just go to town….all u need is a comfy seat, awesomeness on the tele, and warm turkey on some dope ass bread with mavy… heaven on earth

The targeted player is & should be Donovan Mitchell…You don’t have to exactly blow up the team in order to get him, we can still keep JB, RJ & Randle…I would offer 3 first round picks, our own pick in this draft, either the Washington or the Detroit pick & a future one, maybe 2025 bcuz we have two in that draft…Fournier, Grimes, McBride & Quickley would go out…Quickley has the potential plus we’re not paying him 100+ million to come off the bench…Grimes is way too passive & I think he needs a change of scenery…Fournier would go out as the salary dump & McBride would just be a throw in…Starting 5 would be Mitch, Randle, RJ, Spida & JB with Hartenstein, Hart, DDV & Sims off the bench…Barrett can play with the 2nd unit while the other 4 starters rest
The only player on that list I would trade for would be Mikahl Bridges, just bcuz he’s young, fits our time line & the Villanova’ familiarity with JB, Hart & DDV…I don’t necessarily think he moves the needle though…Trading for Spida would, Cleveland is clearly struggling, hopefully he asks for a trade
if knicks mgmt was realistic, opportunistic, and just SMART, they'd move Randle and picks like NOW, and i think one of the most underrated players who would fit seamlessly onto this team and outshine Randle on every level, ESPECIALLY with his versatile, energetic defense, is Jerami Grant. Portland will probably trade almost anyone for the right deal, and they'll get out of a contract sooner with Randle, and if they get pick(s) too, they'll do this deal.
"Why picks AND Randle, for a 'lesser' player?," you say? Maybe picks dont gotta be involved. But if we see the negatives with Randle, and he AINT an expiring deal, then other GMs see it and need to be incentivized to acquire him.
Then, Fournier, Grimes, and picks for OG Anunoby. While Toronto shoulda traded him already, and seemingly are gonna just let another guy expire and walk for nada, they'll move him in the right deal.
It's not ideal to be moving 2 or 3 picks for "non superstars," but these are 2 teamMATE friendly, 2-way, dependable players, who can lead the team in scoring on virtually any given night if need be.
We wouldn't drain the assets for them so the supposed disgruntled superstar is still in play. We would keep an expiring deal like Fournier's by getting OG, and i dont care what anyone says, i watch this team in full EVERY GAME for the last 4 years—- we are a better team without Randle PERIOD, but then you add 2 all star-ish level players like these 2, who play defense, can score, and won't disrupt team play? That's addition by subtraction on steroids by moving Randle for this.
These are 2 teams on or soon to be on the rebuild. THESE ARE THE TEAMS YOU POACH and can get damn good players from for deals headlined by picks, which we have.
And Rose should do these deals MUCH sooner rather than later, so they have time to gel and reach their potential.
Im putting Mitch, Grant, OG, RJ, Brunson,….Hart, Ragu, IQ, and Hartenstein up against any team in the East…if they can make a smaller move and gain some more size for the bench also (though if our stubborn coach would just extend the bench to 10 players and play Sims for simply 8-10 min a night, i think that'd have a noticable impact), all the better…..but moving fast allows u to keep evaluating, and you dont lose out, alseep at the wheel, while other hungrier GMs are sleeping an hour a day, working to be winners
