[95.7] Steve Kerr elaborates on a CP-led postgame defensive clinic: “It’s funny, I was in my office with a couple people just trying to unwind after the game. I look down onto the practice floor and about eight guys were out there going through pick-and-roll coverage.” (Cont’d in body of post)

Remainder of quote (full quote exceeded character limit allowed in post titles): “It was great…This was the first time I’ve ever seen a postgame defensive session. I loved it. It was just the players. The coaches weren’t involved.”

This was in regards to what Saric said post-game last night about the team going back on the court after the last loss to try and figure out what they could do better defensively and that he’d never seen anything like that on any team he’s been on.

There’s the value of a veteran like CP3.

I really hope our defense starts picking it up eventually. I don’t think we’ll reach league high levels since we’ve lost that defensive touch without Brown. But at least top 4 in the West levels.

  3. “It was crazy, I was sitting in my office and I see about 3 guys out on the court practicing the griddy” Wes Unseld said about the Jordan Poole led postgame activity. “I thought it was interesting, we haven’t had a lead in 4 games”
