So many low iq turonvers. Gotta stop throwing passes at peoples feet in traffic or OOB as a bailout after a failed drive. Not to mention the extreme butter fingers with these guys
The major flaw in this team is roster construction which lies totally at Masai and Bobbys feet. But you gotta start question some of the moves Darko and his coaching staff have been making.
* We have gone down by 16+ points in more than half our games this year, in the first half. The coaching staff is not getting these guys ready and locked in.
* Bench Rotations – We have seen some really janky bench line ups. Why is OPJ only getting mins in garbage time?
* Time Outs – Not using time outs until its a 10 – 0 run?
* Where is this lauded 0.5 offense? Where are these new looks / plays?
Im not calling for his head. He is a rookie coach who will need some time to figure shit out and Im looking forward to seeing what he can do here. But the idea replacing Nick with a rookie coach would turn this team around is absolutely laughable
The Magic have the roster Masai thinks we have…
The lack of high level effort and intensity has bothered me most about this team this year. More than the roster being a weird fit or the lack of shooting, the fact that we just have games where guys don’t defend in transition and make stupid ass plays consistently is awful. You gotta make changes to the team if it’s not changing.
Jalen Suggs is hitting shots and talking shit all game, no response from the team. Nobody gets fired up to try and lead a comeback, no extra hustle plays, no increased effort on defense. Looked like they gave up after the 1st quarter.
Lastly, Scottie needs to learn he can’t just have games where he decides to be passive and hangout on the perimeter. He had Gary Harris guarding him at one point in the 2nd….and he just passed it off to Boucher at the top of the key. Didn’t try to post him or take advantage of the mismatch at all.
When is Masai in danger of getting fired? He’s done such a horrible job these past few years.
The Magic made the playoffs in 2020, got murdered and realized their roster wasn’t good enough.
They tanked for 2 seasons and look at where they’re at now.
Imagine if our FO realized our roster wasn’t good enough last season.
Boucher, Poeltl, Precious, GTJ, Siakam need to be moved on

Getting blown out pretty much start to finish by a Magic team missing two starters is beyond embarrassing. It’s pretty much the same shit as last year. Only now we have key assets hurdling towards expiration.

The Raptors shot 50/50/77 and lost. Complete lack of effort and focus is the sole reason we lost.

It’s the lack of effort that really bothers me about this team. That lack of effort generates a lack of focus.
A team that wants to “compete” shouldn’t keep going down by 15+ every single game.

Masai, please just accept that your vision sucked and tear everything down. WTF are we doing with this squad? Like, we’re not even missing anyone significant. This is basically our “healthy” roster.
You know this team is in a bleak spot when they’re playing Garrett Temple and Otto Porter in a blowout instead of young guys like literally ever other team.
Can never count on half this roster to show up, only player that has been consistent is Dennis shrouder. We need some change immediately I’d rather just be awful with a future than mid an no direction. How do we expect to win a championship with this roster.

They just didn’t seem to care. Scottie appeared to try at times, but the vibes were just bad overall. The TOs were crazy and no response to Suggs talking shit. They just seem lost and broken … like last year again (but with a new coach).

and we are only 14 games in…..
Of all the losses this season, this one was the most depressing. We are a team that gave up assets to construct a team which loses to thrown together tanking teams that will look completely different in two years. We are a ‘defensive-minded’ team that goes down by 17 the first 15 minutes of every game. I wouldn’t mind seeing every single player on this team traded except for Scottie, and the longer we delay the rebuild, the longer it will be until Raptor’s basketball is exciting again.

I can’t stand watching Jak play. He is so ass. He purposefully fouled out tonight too I hope he does that every game so I don’t have to watch his boring ass on the court

Time to follow the OKC and Orlando blue print. Trade everyone except Scottie for draft capital and get serious. This team is not a contender and won’t be for a while. Get a GM who can properly rebuild
