Oh wow a team making everything while the hawks failing to get stops. I’m incredibly shocked. If only we had a better wing defender to make the defense a bit better.
I know DJ had good numbers tonight. But his 3rd quarter REALLY hurt us. Very hero ball based. No ball movement. Really sparked their run to get back in the game. He’s got to quit that.
Take 576: you’re not going to go far if Deandre Hunter is your best perimeter defender. You can’t bank it mostly on your center to have an nba level defense.

The Hawks have functionally removed themselves from anything competitive in the NBA. There is nothing to analyze in a podcast with the Hawks. This is one of the softest and weakest teams in the league for what they pay this roster. Landry Fields and the Hawks will continue to look weak and soft until they get some real dogs on their team and exceed the luxury tax. This team has consistently had terrible defenses for almost the last three years and nothing has changed. This is a waste of podcast air time and the fans money and support.
Trae was really good tonight. Quin was right, he competed on defense all night, and hit shots.
I want to get mad at the team, because i care and I've been invested for almost 40 years, but it's game 13.
Brad, you're right, Hunter just isn't cutting it. Bey should probably be the starter, even if he can't really guard 3s on the perimeter. But if the team does want to get rid of Hunter, they can't bench him and tank his trade value any more than his contract already does. So maybe not put in chips for Pascal, but OG Anunoby if we can. And i agree, Onyeka's stats weren't bad, but if you watched the game, he wasn't good.
