It won’t always look like this, but Jaime Jaquez Jr. playing this well, shooting this well (on lower volume), being this solid on defense and having the ball put in his hands might be the single most important thing that has happened with the Heat through the first month.

Highsmith entering the starting lineup started everything. Let’s not forget that.
There’s a lot of things going right. Bam entering his prime and offensive jump. Duncan on fire and driving to the hoop. Jaime composed ball handling and interior scoring (and apparently shooting, when that was supposed to be his weakness), Highsmith is a walking forced turnover. KLove at the 5 makes bench spacing lethal.
Caleb is ramping up. Herro will be back and was playing excellently.
Jimmy should be able to cruise to post-ASG without a problem.
Even when he’s not scoring 20, he’s still around the 12-18 point range which is so valuable for a rookie when they’re usually so inconsistent. Not to mention his defense and under the radar playmaking, even on a bad game (which happened like 1 or 2 times so far) he’s still a net positive.
We’re so stoked for what he can become but right now he’s already a valuable piece for a team looking to win especially on his rookie scale deal.
I just wanna see this team at full health man
90% ts tonight. Jesus.
