Two things can be true at once. AD doesn’t have alot of plays called for him and he rarely gets the ball in his spots. Well he also only has an advantage in the low post in the paint. Teams want him taking anything outside of that because his midrange, floater, fadeaway is nearly nonexistent now. If he isn’t sealing in the post and getting a lob or rolling hard to the basket for a layup / dunk, it’s almost a wasted possession for him to shoot. 5 out offense doesn’t favor post players

Unfortunately AD isn’t a Swiss Army knife like Jokic so plays for him are limited when the paint is packed. But ham should still try something that doesn’t involve him getting double and triple teamed cause he barely passes out of those.

The general management might as well stop looking at AD as an offensive onslaught and think of him more as a prime Dwight Howard on the court. In order for this team to be successful long term, he has to be the 3rd option.
I’m not someone to praises him when he’s good and shuts on him when he’s bad, I have been saying this for at least 3 years now.
Good thing is, this player might be on the roster right now. They need to take a page out of the Sparks book and point to someone giving them the task to take 20 shots a game. AD has clearly chose to put defense first, which is a great thing as long as someone else can take an efficient 20.

It’s on everyone at this point we shouldn’t have been down 20 to have such a fake comeback either way. All of our guys are too inconsistent if they aren’t named lebron James unfortunately, and the guys that are consistent are currently injured (Vando, Cam, Even Gabe imo) if these guys play we probably SMOKE the mavs realistically but at this point in time injuries are murdering us. We should’ve won I said trade guys last night but honestly come play off time I think we picked up guys who can actually help (Cam and Gabe). Christian wood disappeared and TP needs to come off the bench once vando comes back for sure
