Despite many (other people's) criticisms of coach Kidd, I have to give him lots of credit for making the (bold but) right decision to play R. Holmes more after Lively's injury as he probably saw that Powell is not quite having a great night… Holmes played great tonight, helped a lot with defense, boards, and screens (Luka blowing him kisses was … cutesy LOL)… Great eye coach K! Been kinda rough lately for Luka after a great start, along with several lousy defensive moments. But, in this much needed grind out win, he led the way orchestrating pin point passing including setting up Kyrie's clutch triple, scoring clutch baskets and a clutch defensive steal (though that's more of Lebron's long list of questionable passing).
Typical mavs. Kyrie wins them the game and they decide to make a luka highlight video smh. You guys must have forgotten how you guys got nowhere when it was "lukas" team 😂

Lively was a great pick up. Develop the kid and get rid of Powell and Maxi. Need another solid big (PF/C) before the trade deadline, can also bring back DFS from Brooklyn.
