I’m glad someone reminded people Pop ain’t new to this he’s true to this. Pop’s developmental decisions have always been slow and methodical.
Even from a single season perspective, some of Pop’s best team start slow and develop late.
This is how he’s always built things for better or worse.

It’s hard not to get frustrated with the losing streak, especially when the team doesn’t set up offense for Wemby well but his take is light in the tunnel. I hope AM is correct and Pop will surprise us again.
I think it’s fine to suck another season completely, but let’s just hope next season this team will be competitive (at least play-in level with 35-40ish wins)

I think it’s crazy that people expect Wemby to be solely carrying this franchise by himself in 2-3 years. I also don’t think a HoF coach and proven organization is crazy enough to think a 2nd year PF can learn the hardest position in Basketball on the fly and be the future PG. I think they realize that Wemby is gonna need a star running mate (Like SGA has Chet or Jokic has Murray). They probably know that their best chance to draft one without having to trade or sign one is by doing so now. Eventually, Wemby is simply gonna be too good to tank, competent PG or not. He doesn’t look like a disaster out there, he’s averaging nearly 20 a game. He’ll be fine. Let’s use the next year or so as chances to dip back into the lottery before we start placing the burden of the team on Wemby’s shoulders.
