While I love Demar, Patrick Williams took a three when I believe they could have dribbled it out and then they tried to press the Raptors on defense resulting in a shot because if you are gonna play D then they will not dribble it out.
I’ve always rolled my eyes at the part of the “code” that says you’re supposed to let up in games you have probably already won. If you don’t want to get scored on, play defence. If you don’t, who’s really embarrassing who?
I’d imagine 90% of his frustration comes from the scenario he’s in, not Pascal taking the shot. I know nuance is hard for the nephews in here, but sometimes people build up a lot of frustration and the littlest thing makes it boil over; chances are that’s what happened here. It’s just as cringe to be caught up on some basic words someone said when they’re experiencing frustration, especially when there was no disrespect directed at anybody, just him airing out what he felt.
Edit : And I disagree anyways, the unspoken rules have bothered me with every sport, I just think there is often context that a lot of people on here willingly ignore.
