I like both these options but I truly think the Nugs need to find a way to flip Nnaji for another big who can offload some paint responsibilities too. I do like Nnaji but all he brings is lots of energy but no actual productivity. He can’t solidly rebound even though he spends his entire minutes grabbing at the ball, just missing it every time.
Nuggets front office shit the bed by not re-signing Brown! That was the move to do.
Yes, they would have had to spend more money & swallow paying luxury tax for one season for going over the salary cap, but it would have worked out.
Brown is easily the best fit for the Nuggets' 6th man in the league.
yeah, it' would be great. But, knowing Nuggets Ownership and FO – it's not going to happen.
Nuggets Owners are too cheap and the FO has a flee-market bargain mentality.
Nuggets couldn't keep nor replace Brown and Jeff Green.
Jeff Green! Let that cheapness sink in.
Instead – they went to spend all their picks on 2nd round bottom-of-the-barrel g-leaguers.
And now – Nuggets have no significant picks or assets to trade.
Nuggets are in need of a backup C and a strong 2-way guard.
Unfortunately – not going to happen. None of it.
Nuggets are WORSE than last year, and it's painfully obvious that Ownership and FO dropped the ball bc they're cheap and small-minded.
Eh. It's a shame – but Nuggets never did anything till last season and that only because of Jokic.
