  4. ahend1999

best case scenario, there was no fracture, but huge blow regardless

At least he doesn’t need surgery, but fuck me. Are we going with Bey at the 4 now?

Kyle Kuzma it’s grits for you when you come back to Atlanta, pal

The best “bad news/good news” message I could’ve hoped for. He’s gonna miss time, but it’s not nearly as bad as I feared. I fractured my wrist in the same way when I was a teen playing ball and I just knew he did the same…so glad it’s not.

Kyle Kuzma better not step foot in my city again

No fracture and no surgery needed alhamdulillah 🙏🙏

Fracture apparently would have been at least 6 months. This is best case scenario given the nature of the incident.

4-6 weeks is less than I was braced for.

  14. Maybe JJ can heal like Adrian Peterson and be back in 3 weeks?

If he misses 4 weeks he’ll be back the week of Christmas, which is when this crazy stretch of away games ends.

On the positive side, we’ll get him back right as we start to get to the part of our schedule with a lot of home games. So. This could be a pretty ugly month for us with these difficult road stretches. But we could really have a good stretch of basketball in January and February that could make our season. JJ will be back, lots of home games, and our guys should be more comfortable in Quin’s systems by then. Also on the bright side, AJ will get more minutes with Hunter sliding into the PF position occasionally and maybe he can show enough growth to stay in the rotation when JJ gets back.

All in all this could be a lot worse and this won’t tank our season. Glad there is no fracture. Everybody needs to step up. Our guards need to play some of the best defense of their lives so Hunter and Saddiq are less vulnerable.

Edit: also at least this isn’t a leg injury or an injury to his shooting wrist. He’ll be able to stay in shape running, shooting one handed, etc. He shouldn’t miss a beat.

Great, we won’t be getting a rebound for 4 weeks

So he should be back by January at most I’m assuming. It sucks but hopefully he can make a surprisingly fast recovery with our team doctors.

I got a bag of chips to throw to the wizards for gallo

  18. Whew I was praying it was a grade 3 sprain or bone bruise at worst, so glad there’s no fracture 🥲 That much time without him is going to hurt but maybe it’ll make the team rally

  19. WzrdKelly10

Best news possible but my god we’re gonna miss him since we only truly have 2 playable wings in the rotation with Dre and Saddiq. Maybe AJ can show out with those minutes. Wesley Matthews is always optional. Maybe this a good chance to run some OO at the 4?

Fuuuuuuck Kyle Kuzma and his dumbass slim shady haircut

  21. techno-wizardry

Sucks he’ll miss time, but it’s a huge relief he’s not missing longer than this.

We need to trade for Gallo. Like seriously, Wizards dont even use him. Cant be that expensive
