Draymond on the NBA holding him to a special standard: “To continue saying ‘what he did in the past’ I paid for those. I got suspended for Game 5 Theyve made it clear they are going to hold everything against me. I need to adjust where I see fit My teammates see fit, my coaches see fit, FO sees fit”

Oh shit guess what you go to jail once for assault you get 30 days you go 3 more times you do 5 years.

  2. If they keep saying that, that means he keeps doing something….so the history of his actions increases

  3. yeah no shit. it’s called being a repeat offender

Are refs going to call him the same and leave the Draymond tax to the league or have refs been told to add history when making calls on him?

You can’t erase your past.Next game will be Warriors against Kings. Are you ready to beat and trample on Sarbonis again?

  6. Dude literally just came out of choking someone. What standard is the league supposed to apply? If anything Draymond get away with a lot, I haven’t seen a player argue as much with the refs without getting a T as Draymond does.

Draymond is the idiot that gets paid $25m a year that thinks the world is against him, and that he’s getting a raw deal. What an entitled fuck head.

Ideally, you get a clean slate after serving a suspension or ejection, but the NBA (and probably life in general) clearly takes prior incidents into consideration.

This is the one case where shut up and dribble actually applies.

I think it raises an interesting question. Do we penalize the crime? Or do we penalize the person?

In a perfect world, each crime should carry a predetermined sentence. Variation in that allows for bias.

If we want to penalize repeat offenders, then that should also carry standardized penalties that are published in advance.

For better or for worse. Draymond now has a permanent reputation as an offender. And he will not receive the benefit of the doubt.

But I think the final question is, is there anything he can do to clean his record?

In theory, serving a sentence should clean one’s record, but in practice, he is perpetually a player not in good standing. He is, in large part, a “second class citizen”. Being judged with rules that are specific to him. Someone who has been categorized as a repeat offender.

To be clear, I am not advocating for Draymond. I am just opening up the discussion.

So fuxking insane he has no accountability whatsoever. He gets stupid techs so frequently and somehow convinced himself that being on the edge of ejection is a reward and not a risk.

Oh my god draymond. Just stop being an angry baby on the court and you wont get these kind of shits.
