Obviously he’s a non-shooting traditional centre so you expect it to be high, but his moving P&R layups through a crowd aren’t exactly easy (especially with our spacing), nor are the baseline passes that get yeeted at his feet. Couple those with his put-backs and Yak is a picture of shot efficiency.

He was playing lights out at the end of last season – something outrageous like 75% true shooting down the stretch. We all know it’s possible, but it’s very hard to find any kind of consistency with how we run the offense. Also impossible to play well consistently when the team itself has NO idea what the offensive game plan is until the 3rd quarter most games, at minimum.

He’s so skilled as a big man in PnR. I love the high low feeds he does to get our offense going early. Unreal at contesting shots without fouling.
