The problem with this team is they dont give much the ball to Wemby idk hwy. They must take advntage if hison transition or on the paint.

We are more than one month into the NBA.
I understand the crtics for lack of success on 3, he deinitely needs to work more on that, but with polishing and actual system set for him. I am still seeing a lot of potential for this guy. He is already top 50 and he is just 19 in a real "work in progress" team with no real system, no real other threat and no PG.
Wemby with another good game BUT he's playing with a bunch of bums. Until Pop decides to clean house and get Wemby some real talent to play with, these stats will mean nothing.

Victor is still pretty raw. Theres no urgency to win anything here. It will take 2-3 years minimum for the spurs to make noise. Just hope Pop is healthy enough then to coach

The arrogance Pop showed us when he used the PA microphone during the Spurs Clippers game showed how much of a narcissist he is. As a lifelong Spurs fan his arrogance and apathy towards media coupled with his constant political views (within a sporting environment) are not what us fans care about.
The fact he thinks as an elderly man he can relate to teenagers and young men is ludicrous. We needed Snyder or Budenholzer as his replacement but that looks like a pipedream now.
In addition, the fact Leonard left us after having a falling out with Pop and Mgmt because he didn’t think they dealt with his injury very well is hilarious. Since then Pop has made it his mission to not get Kawhi upset or offside.
It’s like Pop is sleeping with Kawhi Leonard’s mom and just panders to the guy because of it.

The spurs will be bad this season although we will see improvemnt from a couple players. They are playing sochan at the pg so he can develop these skills for years down the road but its painful to watch right now. I think the spurs will be a contender in 3 years based on their current development, the number of picks they have, cap space, and trade assets. Its important to realize that wemby is averaging 20 pts withoit a real point guard on the roster, and the only one there isnt a 3 pt shooter. If they had a starting caliber pg that can run the offense he would be averaging 25ppg+ his rookie year.

Wembanyama is so Good unfortunately with the team being so young they need a Couple of Veterans to help and that's why they're not winning.
He is just 19 and never played in USA before…. And he easily has 19+9.5+ 2.5+1+2.5, give him few more years his body grow stronger & improve shooting % I think he’s gonna to have 30+12+4+1.5+3 in his prime

Wemby ain’t overrated at all. That boy need better teammates. At 0:56 Vassell should’ve dropped off to Wemby instead of a pull jumper. At 1:39 Sochan should’ve attacked and either finish at the rim or lob for Wemby. In both instances Wemby still scores but bruh these guys decision making is horrible and we see this kinda stuff every game. Get some better players around him please
@2:22 he barely jumped but his hands were way above the rim. Basketball skills can be enhanced but physical attribute cant.
Wemby is crazy, people need to chill tf out he's only 19 and we're only how many games into the season. He'll get a LOT better as he learns how it is in the NBA, upside is crazy
