The reigning Finals MVP Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and noted Clipper killer Aaron Gordon were all out, which made it an easy win right? Wrong. A Reggie Jackson and Deandre Jordan takeover….yes I spelled that right….led the Nuggets to a shocking upset victory.

So this needs to be blown up… If anyone is holding out thinking they can win are lying to themselves or are completely delusional… all our stars are on expiring contracts or opt-out deals so get what you can NOW… Trade pg for Obi Toppin and two 2nds, trade Kawhi for one good player and a 1st to a fringe playoff team and Harden for two 2nds.. and the good players you get back for Pg & Kawhi let them run with T. Mann, Bones, Brandon Boston Jr and start over… I’m tired of all these old recycled players…Youth, Youth, Youth.. I know people are going to say “you can’t go into the new stadium without a star , we’re not winning with this group so we better salvage what we can…😡

We're played like we were scared on defense. We let them do what ever they wanted and also they played like they were playing against friends instead of trying to kick they're butts… It's so many things I saw that were horrible I'm beginning to wonder if the coach is losing this team!!! No damn excuses!!!! Harden needs to be more aggressive off he's not going too play defense then he needs to scooter 25-30 pant and stop playing like he's 84 years old.. Lol please get better than this…..
It drives me crazy when James harden has an open catch and shoot 3 and decides to hesitate so the defense has time to close out then dribbles into the lane and turns it over this is why Roco and batum were far better fits especially batum he has a really quick trigger on his 3’s

Our team is undeniably the most polarizing team in the league right now. We have now harden and we thought pg and kwahi should have many open easy shots but seemed not. We have russ but can't maximize him because of harden and we can't have them both because harden seemed to not be able to convert catch and shoot 3's. When you look at our personel it looks we should run and push the pace but we choose to be methodical. We do have two of the best defenders in the league but games like these is utterly frustrating. 😢

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Clippers and the Nuggets ever since the ABA merger. I gave up NBA when it became soft in the early 00s, but my step-son told me the Nuggets (!) (Yes, the NUGGETS) finally won a championship after all their years in purgatory!). So I was fascinated to discover how they managed to climb from obscurity to a championship. After researching the Nuggs I then turned my attention to the Clippers – to be honest I really became disenchanted with the Clippers when they left San Diego, but I still hoped to learn of their success. Well, they have come close, but really they seem to have bought into the aging superstar narrative. I was hoping they were developing really good chemistry tthis year and then they pulled the trigger on Harden. Shame, Clppers. I will continue to hope they get a competent front office that will help them find a way to a championship. I am convinced that in this era of parity, an organization must have a far-sighted, even keel management team to get close to a championship.

Harden is doomed, I really don't know why did you guys wanted him to destroy your team having such a great roster as you had. May be some defense role playing… And, never have seen Kawhi playing so bored. Putting the biggest names together never was the wisest thing to do, all of them are used to have the ball most of the game.
I agree with your point about Russ on defense 100% but that’s the problem when you minimize his offensive role he’s never going to be a lockdown defender where your like oh he has to be on the floor when he’s doing nothing on the offensive end so I think your setting your self up a bit for disappointment if your looking for great defense every night from any of their 4 starts to be honest
That’s why you need role players who know their minutes are 100% dependent on how they play on the defensive end

I agree on your zubac point I’m on board with some of the criticism of him but he’s getting way to much hate he is constantly helping to contest whichever old slow guy got burnt at the point of attack and then because of that he can’t secure the defensive rebound and he gets hate for that the guy can’t contest two different people at once and then still secure the defensive rebound on his own
