Mark Cuban confirmed to me:
*Mavs will NOT relocate to Las Vegas
*On the Sands Corp, Cuban said, "Coming in to upgrade and hopefully build a new area, which will hopefully be a Venetian like resort here in Dallas. That's the goal."

Dallas is too big a market for the NBA to lose.
League and owners would never vote for it anyway

As if this was ever in question. Imagine moving the only basketball team in the 5th biggest market in the US to the 40th biggest market for absolutely no reason. Imagine what it would take for the rest of the league to even approve that.
I don’t think the team is moving to Vegas, mostly because I think the whole “Lebron Vegas team owner” thing probably has legs, but there’s no way I’d trust Cuban on this. The dude will rename the Mavs and THEN move the team to Vegas if he has to, and then claim that he told no lies.
I don’t care about the theories on what happens going forward. I am just pissed and disappointed that this is how the Mavs is being sold. I expected better from Cuban. But maybe I was a clown for that.
That doesn’t make sense anyways, DFW is the 4th largest metro in the country lol. This isn’t OKC or Charlotte

Mavs, Cowboys, Stars and Rangers aren’t going anywhere. DFW is one of the major sports markets in the US. They’re here to stay.
They’re not going to Vegas. They’re coming to Seattle! (I wish..)
Vegas and Seattle have been locked in as expansion franchises for years. Just waiting on new TV deal to announce.
