Ivey have been complementing Cade well. He deserves to be part of the roster longterm.
I don't think he's taking a leap, it just feels like his being more patient. Controlling that speed better.

Monty screwed Ivey by putting him in the dog house. I'm glad he was strong enough to fight thru the b.s. in order for Thompson to get better Cade and Ivey needs to be volume shooters. Stewart should have never been given that contract. That money should have been saved to overpay a free agent next season.

No, Stew is not regressing. It’s just that he’s wasn’t a 47% 3pt shooter yet. He’s probably closer to the 37% that he’s now trending.
If Ausar gets court time and being a non shooter, I find it hard to accept that Stew is judged on his 3pt shot (over 40% ). He's a #4, he should not be expected to be one of the best shooters on the team, especially when Ausar is worse. He struggles because he is asked to be a #3 when Ausar is on the floor and this leaves Duren exposed without help inside. If Ausar is starting, he should be a guard, not a wing. He was asked to guard the opposing star player, which would mean being a guard in almost all match ups. Put Stew on the floor with Bojan at the #3 and he does not have to be a key 3pt contributor. I love Ausar, I am huge on Ivey, but right now Stew must be on the starting team. Nobody else brings the presence he does, the leadership he brings, and Ausar at #4 would negate his strengths. As a rookie, Ausar can play lots of minutes, but doesn't need to start every game. I would rather play Cade – Ausar – Bojan – Stew – Duren against a team like Boston. Ausar can guard Tatum, Cade Brown or White etc. but in other games, you can start Ausar off the bench.
Stewart Regressing, he never improved, i talked about this last season and coming into the off season. Stewart isn't doing anything impressive, bagley is a better player and has always been better. Stewart hitting a few shoot from 3pt line, but what else has he actually done to help us win games last season and this one.

The team should be built around Ivey. Ivey is the most talented player on the team.
Some of their valued young talent might put pressure on the front office if they don't make moves to help them win.
