Seems like the ideal Pascal team for what this FO would want and the other team being one that needs to go all-in sooner rather than later. We know they prefer players to picks. They have 3 young guys (I feel like you can get at least 2 of them, ideally Podz and Moody), and then maybe one of those later firsts (2028 or later) when Steph will be gone most likely. Then either Klay or CP3 as the filler (I’d prefer CP3 personally, but Klay would be probably be possible to do a S&T in the offseason? Idk)
However I can see GSW being hesitant based on Pascal’s salary and having to pay him next year. I know most of us would want a 2024 first back in a Pascal trade but if you got 2 or 3 of the Warriors young guys, I think you’re fine without a 2024 first.
You might be able to get one if you trade Schroder.

I’ve been keen on this trade for a few years and posted about it numerous times. I’m curious how close Scottie and moody are as friends bc that kind of joy can help keep Scottie happy to be here and sometimes bring out the best in people. I’ve also been very high on kuminga in the past. I’m not sure he will reach his potential but I think his potential is high. I think we would only get 2/3 of those assets. If siakam is signed long term, then maybe the haul increases. Unpopular opinion but I think that’s where we are headed so the waiting game will draw on.

GSW is one of the few trade partners that makes sense for the Raptors. They really want to squeeze their last years with Curry, and they have young players and salary to make it work. Rumors were Masai is looking for young players in return (not just draft picks), and GSW has a collection of them that are interesting (Moody, Kuminga, and Podz).
