Who can possibly get besides Lavine or Derozan? Will Mitchell or any other star ask out

  2. ThaEternalLearner

Rui wasn’t getting enough minutes anyway so it makes sense he’s a trade candidate.

  3. GutsTheSwordsman

Hachimura must have a chronic injury if we are shipping him off after he played decently good defense and shot 50%+ from deep in the playoffs.

  4. Benotheking

I probably think Lavine, Grant, Simmons, brogdon and kuz

  5. Voltagi250

Trading Rui is a dumb shit,is better send gabe and dlo plus picks

  6. Cucklord4646

Like Rui so much, would hate to see him go. But hand in pockets don’t wanna use him right

  7. handlemyrandle

I would bet some serious cash that Rui turns into a bonafide star on another team. You know how Kuz, Jordan Clarkson, and many others have flourished after leaving LA? He will absolutely be a stud with the right coach.

  8. Electronic_Bit9495

I don’t wanna see Rui go he didn’t get nearly the same chance as everyone else

  9. CabbageStockExchange

What a shame. These two were such key pieces in our turnaround last year

  10. Top-boy-og

There’s is absolutely 0 reason to trade Rui. And for those of you saying pockets doesn’t use him right… that just tells me pockets needs to be fired

  11. No-Equipment-20

Well yeah. If we’re making a trade we’re almost certainly moving D’lo, Rui, or Vincent

  12. Ok-Canll

People wanting to trade dlo and rui are going to be so disappointed with the results

  13. Droppin_Dimes_

How are you guys surprised by this? We were not about to trade Dlo for a better player by attaching other mediocre players. If you want a better players you have to sweeten the pot. Agree with it or not but Rui is a very favorable/trade able contract.

Now hopefully we just don’t fuck it up for a guy like Lavine or derozan

  14. flowermoon24

Hope Rui develops his perimeter defense, he getting killed out there in the perimeter and his screen navigation is bad. Thats why on some games you cant start him cause the opposing teams’ wing is a good perimeter shooter like PG, Kawhi, Grant, KD unlike Vando who can actually bother people.

  15. Neither-Addendum-368

With Vincent and Vanderbilt coming back and the emergence of reddish, we already going to have to cut massive mins to two rotation guys or literally dnp them so might as well trade them instead of rotting them in the bench, the only downfall of this is that we’re cursed with injuries and having 10 rotation guys helps cause we’re always down 2-3 guys anyways

  16. NehebTheUnworthy

I would prefer no trade at all. The team has shown promise last season, keep them together and let them work without any destabilizing distractions.

  17. Who the fuck would we get thats better than rui, derozen? Lmfao Alex? Who barely shoots this sub is full of donkeys

  18. motorboat_mcgee

The fan base and media won’t be happy until we trade everyone not named LeBron

  19. prodij18

One of the problems on this squad is the redundancy. D’Lo and Reaves are an awkward fit defensively and offensively very similar and LeBron and Rui as well (Rui w/o the playmaking of course). And those our 4 of our 5 best and highest paid players.

Unless Ham figures something out, it just feels like the Lakers are less than the sum of their parts.

Trading D’Lo, Rui, Hayes, Vincent, plus JHS and/or draft capital for LaVine, Caruso, and Drummond would give us

    Reaves/Caruso (doesn’t matter who starts)

    LaVine/Reddish/Christie

Prince/Vando (also doesn’t matter who starts)

    LeBron/Wood

    AD/Drummond

LaVine gives us a scorer who can play alongside Reaves and LeBron, Caruso gives us an elite defensive guard, and Drummond gives us a big body to grab rebounds and throw at Jokic. I just don’t see how this wouldn’t be a much needed improvement.

  20. discussionandrespect

I’d do Rui and Dlo for lavine and Caruso

  21. kasaan110

Remember the term nba execs is another form of fake people. Dlo obviously is a candidate but rui is a non getting moved at all. Unless it’s for a superstar. 🛑

  22. Enough-Mud3116

STOP RUINING THIS TEAM BY THINKING TRADES HELP US. NO TRADE

  23. ****Everyone not named Lebron and AD are potential trade assets.

  24. Js_On_My_Yeet

If they get rid of rui it’s not going to be good

  25. Callecian_427

Why is the rest of the league trying so hard to will the Lavine trade into existence

  26. notmarkcubaniswear

Am I the only one that doesn’t think the lakers need to trade anyone…? Unless Lebron doesn’t want as much usage the team is perfectly built around ad and bron. Unless Lebron wants less usage they won’t get any better trading for anyone that’s on the market… if anything it’s coaching.

  27. kingtradeofficial

Darvin Ham should be the potential trade candidate

  28. yeezyhersh

of potential players this is what i like based on fit and potential out of dudes that can potentially be had:

    1.trey

literally the perfect player for bron and Ad . think curry light with slightly better passing.

    2. lavine

not as good as trey by any means but would be a much more consistent 3rd option than anyone on the roster currently.

    3. Caruso

no where the star caliber of previous 2 but proven winner with us and fills a glaring hole on our current team.

    4. OG / Grant

more or less the same type of player.. but better than all the 3 or D players we got.

    5. Drum (or a big body for jokic/embid)

    you know why

    6.siakum.

AD would have to commit to the 5..

    7. derozan

really would like any move down to #5… as long as its not too much of an overpay.

    just dont like fit.
