Bad 1st quarter we couldn’t claw our way back from and Denver just played great

Back to back after an all out fight to make the tourney in Denver without FVV against the full strength reigning Champs. Idk if there is a game that is more of a scheduled loss than tonight.
Honestly not too pressed about this lost. There was a lot going against us. Murray back, FVV out, second night of a back to back, on the road, and we’ve already beaten them twice this year so they’ve got a vendetta. It wasn’t looking good from the get go. Jalen played great though

I seriously don’t want to see another meaningful minute in a rockets jersey from Jock and Bullock. Hell even Holiday. Play Cam and let him develop as the season goes. The game looked easy for him. He got to the hoop, he got to the line. He hit a contested 3 with the shot clock running down. He got a couple boards and bodied a couple guys in the paint.

Landale has to go. He can’t play any meaningful minutes, can’t receive basic passes, doesn’t rebound well, doesn’t defend. He shows just enough in practice to make the coaching staff think he’s playable, and that’s not good. Trade him!

The first quarter really did us in, but nothing to be extremely disappointed about. Cam looked legit at the end, he should get at least some consistent minutes going forward.
Hopefully, after this year, we’ll have a solid understanding of who/what we need as our #2. The presence of Murray elevated the Nuggets notably compared to the first two games – that’s what we’re looking for.
People were complaining about the refs last game, but this one the refs bothered me way more!
Also this was oddly one of sengun’s worst games in a while. I don’t know what the problem was but he was more apprehensive than usual. He usually goes at the Euro players even harder. But tonight he was being more passive in some situations he is usually more aggressive. Maybe it was just fatigue.
If we had drafted Cam at 4 and never been able to get Amen I think we’d still be stoked after tonight
They got off to a hot start and that was pretty much it. A team goes off from three like that there is very little you can do.
Whenever we looked like we were going to claw it back to a game they pulled away. Keeping teams at arm’s length like a championship team does.
We have 4 games in 5 so this a rough stretch of games. Hopefully FVV and Tate are good to go for the remaining two.
