>Mitchell understood the crowd’s damning reaction.
“It’s part of the game,” he said of the booing. “I’m not one that’s anti that. You come in expecting us to perform a certain way, and we didn’t do that. If you want to prevent the boos, play well and win the game, so that’s part of it.
“I was booing when I was a kid too, so I understand. This city wants a championship and rightfully so, so we’ve got to go continue to strive for and handle our business.”

I had a friend at the game. It was not good fans were very upset and they booed and rightfully so. Even a win against the pistons wont do anything. They legit have to go out and beat Orlando and miami to regain some footing
Something is off — the team shows it and we all see it. JB has been completely different this year as well… he’s not pushing the team to go hard defensively like he did in years past. He’s mostly been stoic and calm on the sidelines. I’m not sure that matters anyway because his yelling didn’t always help but the effort this year looks so bad. The guys are sluggish with minimal defensive effort and the vibes are clearly off.
Either way, this team shouldn’t need JB yelling at them to beat Portland at home. They deserve to be booed for blowing that game against an inferior team… it’s not like they’re 15-5 and had a let down. They’ve been struggling and have zero reason to believe they can chill against anyone.
This might just be it: huge wins, weird losses, and a mid to high 40 win team
I would have booed like hell in the fourth
It was deserved, they’ve blown leads before but to not only do that but lose to a team that’s only won 6 games is pathetic
We fired the coach in 2016 and won a championship, we can do it again
