Haliburton for Sabonis: The Re-Grade 🤝

  1. Both are great. However the Kings now need defense. Haliburton would not benefit the defensive effort like Fox does.

  2. Lmfao. Indiana didnt want Fox!!!!! Stop peddling that the kings traded the wrong guy bullshit 🤣 its shows that people didnt watch the Fox x Hali backcourt.

  3. Haliburton and Fox would have sorta worked, but it would’ve been forced. Both are way better off being as far away from each other as possible.

  4. I honestly don't think Haliburton and Fox could work together at all. We would certainly not have seen either of them get as good as they are right now.

  5. U gave a B+ to a top 10 team in the nba🤡 definitely hitting the “don’t show content from this creator” 🔥🔥🔥🔥

  6. As a Kings fan, it’s an A+ for us. Hali was a fan favorite and we all still love him, but Sabonis is a much better fit for our squad and he’s a mini Jokic

  7. I think for at the time it was a good trade for the Kings. They got a former 2x All-Star and walking double-double to fill that 5 spot. They didn't really have a good big man to pair with Fox at the time. Haliburton had basically been a bench guard for them and they probably didn't know how it would work with him and Fox in the backcourt and a bad center.
So for at the time, I'd give the Kings and A. Considering the Pacers haven't made the playoffs post this trade and the Kings have and are currently 9-6 in the West i'd say it's still been at least a B+ for them.
Tyrese could get injured again and then the Pacer's season could fall off a cliff, as great as they're offensively they have one of the worst defenses in the league. Even if the Pacers make the playoffs they still have limited to no playoff experience together. Stars and teams can really fall off in the postseason, especially with more experienced squads like The Bucks, Celtics, 76ers, Cavs, and Knicks.

  8. It is kind of funny that the last two seasons The Pacers had made the Playoffs were also the two years Sabonis didn't make the All-Star team for them.

  9. Sabonis and Fox fit better together than Sabonis and Haliburton would have, Haliburton is a slightly better player but the kings still traded the right guard and made to the playoffs. This should be an A+ all around

  10. This was a legit like win win win win win trade for all players involved, both franchises and all supporting players. Not to mention the balancing of rosters both pgs and centers on each team. Most importantly the fans WIN the most to get to see these pacers and kings and best versions of fox, Hali and Sabonis. Trust me I’m a kings fan and letting go hurt but I’m hella happy for him and Indiana

  11. Fox had just signed a big extension, would have been harder to trade him just from the financial aspect. Hali was still on his rookie deal.

  12. So dumb, no fox and Halibitter couldn't have worked… 🤣 It eas an A for kings back then… And a B+?!? HOW CLUELESS DO YOU WANT TO EXPOSE YOURSELF?! 🤣

  13. Kings have two MVP caliber thanks the trade. Kings literally flipped Biddy, Halibitter and a pick for Sabonis and Huerter. HUERTER is a miles ahead of buddy, better shooter, better ball handler, better playmaker, better rebounder, better teammate and way better derender. Whil Sabonis > Halibitter.. nothing Halibitter does better than Sabonis excepr for shooting 3. CLUELESS

  14. Fox definitely wasn’t gonna work well with him and he definitely had more trade value. What really confuses me is how Sacramento was the worse team before the trade and is now the better team, but y’all still say the Pacers won. Make it make sense😤

  15. Kings won the trade just as much , if not more . Pacers won because Halliburton is already an all star with potential to make pacers really good. But Sabonis came over and immediately is a top 5 center , all star , and kings are REALLY good .

  16. How did you put the Pacers A+ when they got 11 seed last year & the Kings 3 seed and put the playoff last year & the this year the kings have a better record right now with a harder conference? it should be switched kings A+ Pacers B+. thumbs down this guy

  17. I definitely think out of all NBA trades the last few years this was the biggest win win I have ever seen, both teams got significantly better through the player movement
