Guys making 4 million a year playing their asses off, just so a guy making 40 mill can blow it. Unreal

  2. Tengenflare

If they replace Tobias with PatBev as the starter, they might legit be a super team once the maxey, embiid, and kelly come back.

  3. XxStormySoraxX

One possession game late in the 4th against our biggest rival and we’re running our offense through Patrick Beverly while our 180 million dollar stands in the corner because he can’t stop getting his shot blocked and turning the ball over.

This has always been my issue with Tobias Harris. He’s not a winning player and he plays scared in big moments. You cannot win with players like him on the court when the playoffs start.

  4. GirlWithGame

23 FT VS 36. Refs remain undefeated and yes I will complain about the God awful refs.

Clean block, Melton fouling out on what shouldn’t have been his 6th. Brown legit with the offensive foul but called a defensive and then the next elbow and 2 points for Brown.

This shit just angers me and makes watching basketball really awful sometimes.

Mo BAMBA is a superstar type of player. I have said it for many years but he will be a franchise gamechanger and it showed this game. Him, Embiid, and Maxey will be the best trio combo in the league or second with Orlando on the up and up. They fix each others weaknesses. Embiid is not a true defensive center, isn’t a real rim protector, and while he does fight for rebounds Mo is built to rebound. I truly believe that the Sixers fleeced the NBA by picking up Mo for little. He is a potential AT Great of all GOATS. Those minutes in the 3rd when Mo came in showed it all, Mo came in and instantly the Sixers started to surge it wasnt a tick for tack game anymore, no it was dominance. Mo’s presence inside completely changes how opponents gameplan and play their offensive sets, the paint becomes a no-go zone, and Mo is an absolute elite help defender and deterrent if close to nearby defenders. His Defended Field Goal percentage supports this. Mo also is a legit shooter, his offensive presence unlocks so many new playstyles and sets. He is an offensive and defensive hub alone.

And on Maxeys playmaking and Mo Bamba is completely unlocked. Mo’s potential is almost limitless and to me needs the patience and attention to fully grow it. The guy is a modern day center but with all the good traits maxed out. Mo 2 seasons ago when he started for the Magic was a top 3 shooting center on high volume, and according to BoxDLebron and Lebron he was a top 10 defensive center. The Magic fully mismanaged Mo, they wanted to try out BB which everybody now clearly knows was a disastrous experiment. I called it at the time and many Magic fans berated me but it was so obvious that Mo Bamba was the better starting fit and could be somebody who elevates a team to another level.

Mo is a #1/2 option on most teams but what makes his fit with the Sixers so great is that he can pop off even easier with the inside presences of Embidd or Tobias. They will easily kick out to a 38% 3pt shooter Mo. Mo also truly fits defensively with this team, Mo became an elite switchable defender this year. His switchability wasnt explored by the Magic or Lakers at all but his numbers of vs guards, forwards and centers are all extremely well (this includes playing against stars). He played some games on the Lakers and was generally always dominant.

Mo is the current and a bit of a next gen center with the way he can guard any position and shoots light outs with a physique only in video games. The guy was built for this day and age and the changing tides and he just needs trust and touches. Mo has always been a good field goal percentage player, but his usage has been terrible on the Magic and Lakers (another thing they both failed at). Mo is a superstar. He was in a legendary draft class and was drafted extremely high for a reason. It wasn’t for hype. Mo had it all and more. I truly think he can be one of the top in his class and will fight for the top position by the end of his career. The Magic and Lakers both mismanaged Mo, and both Clifford and Mosley (bald headed coaches from the Magic) and Ham (bald headed coach from the Lakers) dont know how to use their assets or grow their talent pools without completely sidelining another player (something we see happening in the Rockets right now with Bari). Mo imo was the top 3&D center 2 seasons ago when he had minutes and that was backed by all advanced stats. Mo is a winning player. He is a GoatBA. Mo was also for a long stretch on the Magic despite playing with the gleaguers and the injury replacement players the best p/m player on the Magic. He would go -10 with the reserves and then absolutely surge once he gets a starter to stagger. Mo scales with teammates and the Mvp Embiid and future AS Maxey are perfect fits to scale with the growing all time great Mo Bamba. The guy will shine on this team and this game showed it.

I truly think that the Sixers lost this game because they moved away from feeding Mo. Mo was on fire, he was setting strong screens, dragging defenders on the rolls, and causing havoc. A few times he found gaps open under the rim and the ball holders couldn’t get the ball to him. He had Pritchard a few times pinned under the rim with no feed. A few times he popped out and had 2 follow him and the ball holder couldn’t get a good drive, and a few times they decided to leave Mo open from 3 and no touch despite the guy being automatic. Mo is a true 1st option type of player. He will get you points if allowed to get hot. Remember him dropping 30+ on Embiid by halftime. The guy is unstoppable once hot. Need Nurse to understand that and get Mo more touches.

I hope Coach Nurse put Mo in the SL soon. I expect big things from MO Bamba with this team core. I can see a big 3/4 in that and a good championship run. GOATBA can be the future of this franchise considering he is still so young and developing both offensively and defensively. Mo has grown as a player and individual also being talked about teammates more and more as the guy who enforces on the court and encourages teammates. He is a great centerpiece piece to develop. There is a reason Embiid desperately wanted him on this team. The future for him is bright and so is it for the Sixers if they use Mo correctly and teach him correctly (since he is rusty with all these DNPs). Imagine that this game was with a Mo Bamba that was rusty from all the DNPs, he looked out of stamina a few times but always giving 100 percent effort. Mo Bamba is a franchise gamechanger. He needs to get more consistent PT. He will make the Sixers great again, and they can be a good team to contest the surging Magic (who I think will run the East soon). Mo Bamba has finally arrived to the NBA and the league should be worried. Trust in Mo, give him consistent PT, grow him, complete the process, and have a dynasty.

  6. That game was mostly fun, but fuck Tobi was awful that second half. We could have won that if he wasn’t so shitty.

  7. Donnerpartytwink

Furk and Tobi were so fucking bad. Can’t wait until they’re gone.

  8. Ivory_Toast_

Crazy how I was able to predict Tobias only getting 14 points tonight in the [Pre-Game Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/sixers/s/KRBUl887aZ) as the first option

I said it as a joke but what an abysmal performance from him

Can’t even make the last two free throws when the game is over – that says all you need to know

Got outplayed by every single player, including Melton, Roco, Bev and even our third string meme ass center in Bamba

We win this game if we got 10% better than this bum ass performance

  9. Patient_Jicama_4217

Why would the Bulls trade lavine for Harris?

  10. Otternomaly

Nah I’m sick man Tobi simply not showing up is one thing, but dude could not stop himself from actively throwing

  11. theytook-r-jobs

Tobias is the last Horcrux. Hopefully there’s a resurrection stone if Morey does while trading him.

  12. stinkmeaner92

Never seen a player crumble like Tobias against the Celtics. They OWN him

  13. MaxeytoEmbiid

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWmQbk5h86w

Adam Silver, your league has a fucking officiating problem. It’s a disgrace to the game.

“Well, he got the ball”-ESPN announcer. Indeed he did, so it’s a fucking clean block. Or it would be, if Bev had worn a Celtics jersey tonight. But because he was a 76er, it was a foul.

I would’ve been so fucking petty and got myself ejected with two seconds left. 8 on 5. As far as I’m concerned, we won tonight. Just like the Milwaukee game.

  14. TheAntiCircleJerk

It’s really embarrassing how our $180m man is performing worse than two almost-retired wings in RoCo and Batum. If we had NBA quality wings instead of his bum ass the last few years we might have a ring.

  15. ranchsauce13

Dear Tobiass, I feel like I can call you Ass because you and me are so not alike. I’d never like to meet you one day, it would be great to have you gone. I know I can’t dribble as horrible as you but I think you’d be impressed with my speed. I hate your hair, you are slow. You have a good relationship with your father? Same. These are all things we don’t have to talk about and more. I know you haven’t been getting my letters because I know you would brick them if you did. I hope you don’t write back this time, and we can become great enemies. I am sure our relationship would be a real block!

  16. SwizzyStudios

He’s our second highest paid player right?

  17. Boston fans talking about “remarkable teams win these games” like they didn’t just nearly lose at home to Pat Bev, Marcus Morris, RoCo, Harris, and Bamba 😂😂

  18. Prestigious-Rock201

Anybody posting a tobias Harris apology form because he scores 30 against the wizards should be banned from this point on.

HES FUCKING AWFUL. Garbage ass Celtics shouldn’t of won this but thanks to him they did

  19. Sixers14

morey should trade tobias before deadline, he cant be on the team this playoffs, celtics have jrue and derrick white as the 4th and 5th option, and they both are better than him.

  20. clickstops

The third level of hell is just that second half, but only tobias possessions, on repeat.

  21. AnnoyingPhillyFan

I can go for a Ricky Bo-esque rant about Tobias

  22. jeppsforst

R/Celtics has a comment that reads “remarkable teams win these games” and it currently has 35 upvotes. They are so shameless

  23. ApoTheAnswer

Everybody hating on Tobi rn (understandable), but tbh I’m happy about the game, the guys played hard and stayed in the game until the end even without their two best players, another starter and the 6th man. Hell, if it wasn’t for the refs we might have won. I’m proud of our guys

  24. kokukojuto33

I cant express into words how pathetic Tobias is lol

Absolute mental midget and softest player to ever grace the court is probably close

He hasnt finished a play with energy, ever. Even Bum Simmons puts more effort into his play

  25. phillyleotard0

wHeReS tHe ToBiAs HaRrIs ApOlOgY fOrM

  26. RebuildFletcher

Outside of our $180M 5th option I’m damn proud of the other boys tonight. Schedule looking good moving forward so let’s get Embiid, Batum and Maxey back and wreck some havoc

  27. Ivory_Toast_

They needed to grab other players’ dicks and elbow them in the face to beat Roco and Bev

And you got Tatum complaining to the refs about getting ejected after kicking someone and elbowing them in the face

  28. WhenPigsRideCars

Celtics could beat an all-leukemia kids team and fans still raise a banner for it

  29. PessimistSixersFan

Whats the opposite of a Tobias Harris apology form? Can we get those?

  30. Apollo_7

How does Tobias only take ONE three pointer??? Get this man outta here.

  31. sherekahn5

Can’t believe at one point this year we were talking ourselves into maybe resigning him next year lol

  32. roosterdabooster

We should’ve traded Tobias in the off-season but Morey overvalued him thinking he’s someone he’s not.

  33. Tobias is so bad but we cannot do Lavine, we would basically be extending that bad contract slot
