Kyrie is supposed to be his own version of Luka when Luka is not playing, but tonight Kyrie looked terrible without 77 predominantly running the show. Kyrie has to be better, and he will be, but it just shows the difference in Luka being top 5 and Kyrie being top 20, Luka is just so reliable compared to most other star players.

The Lively thing with rebounds is something I've noticed in other games as well, it wasn't as noticeable as today but it happens more often than the other way around.
I hope Luka plays tomorrow because with him playing it's going to be a tough game, but without him? I might be a blowout but even so, it will be interesting to see Lively matching up against Chet.

We got SMOKED 20+ by a team that is in total disarray and played back-to-back games.The same Clippers lost next game to the Denver B team two days later at home.Not even 7 days after we lose against dead last crippled Memphis team who's main player spent most of the game on the bench due to foul trouble.I seen more inspiration in local drunks then this team, Luka needs to leave ASAP.

Kyrie is a much better playmaker than he showed here this game. However, it shows that he needs plays being called to help him and his teamates to get those easy shots.
The grizzlies made this a half-court style game. The opposite of what Kyrie and the others were winning with fast-breaks.
You cant expect Kyrie to generate easy shots like Luka because he isnt a pick&roll maestro. He is an elite scorer who works best if the playmaking duties are off his hands. The reason it worked in Brooklyn was that team played more dynamic plays and screens from Jacque Vaghn and Igor Kokoško, two coaches who proven to create plays that dont rely on one player
Kyrie a number 2, but best as a number 3… they should still trade him. They’ll go further with a guy that’s taller, more defensive, and has more fight then Kyrie… as I say this … should be Lavine
The blame game pods are getting tedious. It's one thing to discuss how the team can get better, or what happened. But every loss being something that we need to blame someone for is a bit ingenious. Teams lose for a variety of reasons, but its a sport where winning 60-70% of the time is considered a fantastic season.

Idk. 2 of our leading scorers(1st and 3rd) didnt play and we only lost by 14🤷. Agree to some comments that Kyrie didnt carry or why the coaching didnt do a better job. Its kyrie, ever since this season started we knew kyrie isnt gonna god mode this early in the season. Nick and the others said that so idk what you were expecting the man to do lol. I agree if he got 20+ then it mightve been different but we gotta treat him like hes playing through something, minor injury etc. Hes not gonna score a whole lot unless luka plays. With the coaching, i mean it is what it is. New players, some kinda new coaching as well. This early in the season and the fact that luka and THJ didnt play who are our 1st and 3rd leading scorers, im not gonna take this loss as a season definer. Yall gotta relax😂

Kidd was acting like a bunch of clutch wins against below average to bad teams is something to be positive about when there is red flags everywhere with this team still. Something is just off with this team, it’s obvious we need Luka playing Luka ball and playing well to even be competitive. I can’t take too many more of these losses before I’m out tbh, Kidd should have been gone a year ago.
