  1. Memphis players stepped up when needed, Dallas role players didn't. That's a common theme for the bench mob.

  2. 4 timeouts Kirk. Kidd called 4 timeouts the whole game. But still pathetic
    1st 2: 45 mark
    2nd 7: 08 mark
    2nd 3: 16 mark
    4th qtr 10: 08 mark

  3. Coach and "Robin" both lost without Luka, LOL In five years time, Mavs were not able to construct a well balanced competitive roster. Pathetic.

  4. Good show fellas, it was definitely an odd game…am looking forward to Luka’s New Dad energy and watch out league if he leans into it – he might stop playing with his food and start tearing teams apart!

  5. This game feels really important because it exposes all the bad stuff that the "magic" hides away, and we already had a season of it last year. when you had a player putting up crazy numbers every game trying desperately to make the playoffs. Didn't work. Then you add a rookie, an older all star and some bench, and it's still not working, but Luka isn't playing great every game so we let it fly, thinking if he "just" played better we would be ok. That won't work. The roster and the coaching is just not enough. There is lack in size, IQ and, yes talent everywhere. Sorry but experience and development don't fundamentaly change players, otherwise Timmy would know what a bad shot is, and 4th year Josh would not look like a headless chicken half the game. Maybe Hardy and Omax will be playable in 4 years, but guess who's ready to win now?
The truth you won't tell is that this team is stuck, no trade assets, no draft capital after criminal mismanagment, over panying for some players and low balling others, their tank-rebuild cycle is over, they cannot get better players than right now. "Loyalty never fades away" is a cute sentence but 21 years got Dirk a single ring, paycuts and permanent handicap. Don't expect all players to be as scared as him to ask/opt out.
